What Is The Best Way To Search For A Wedding Photographer?
There Are Lots Of Different Sources To Search For Photographers. Here Are Some Examples. *wedding Blogs *asking A Friend Who Got Married Recently About Her Photographers' Contact Details. (sometimes They Are Not Willing To Share It) *google And Social Media Search (it May Take A Long Time) *online Service Providers Where You Can Post Your Project & Budget And Have Professionals Bid For It. (avoid Posting Too Low Of A Budget). Remember You Are Paying For Photographer’s Experience And Expertise. Weddings Are Once In A Lifetime Events, With Too Low Of A Budget You Will Not Reach The Photographers With The Proper Skill. *stay Away From “one Stop Shop” Wedding Vendors, Like Entertainment Companies Who Also Provide Catering, Photography But Don’t Give You Photographer’s Info. *the Same Thing Is True With Large Studios That Contract Out Weddings (i Cannot Stress This Enough!) Always Have A Direct Relationship With Your Photographer Before The Wedding. At The End Of The Day, The Most Important Thing Is Finding The Photographer You Click With. Chances Are You Are Going To Spend More Time With Your Wedding Photographer Than With Your Maid Of Honor On Your Wedding Day, So You Want To Make Sure You Like Them. Always Be Sure To At Least Interview Several Photographers. Whatever The Search Method You Choose, Narrow Down Photographers Whose Work You Like, And Also Whose Philosophy That Resonates With You. It Is Important To Set Up An In-person Meeting Or A Phone Call, Facetime Or A Skype Session. Then You Can Determine If You Like Them.

Hayley + Matt’s California Garden Backyard Wedding
The First Time I Met Hayley And Matt Was On Their Tour Of The Paicines Ranch As They Searched For A Venue. Their Love And Life Enthusiasm Drew Me In Immediately As I Showed Them Around. I Wanted To Capture Their Wedding Day, And Fortunately, They Felt The Same. I Was Elated When They Asked Me!it Was Heartbreaking When They Had To Cancel Their 350 Person Wedding At Paicines Ranch Because Of Covid-19. They Rolled With It And Turned It Into A 35 Person Backyard Wedding At Matt’s Parents’ House In Gilroy. The Rest Of The Guests Would Hop On Zoom To Watch The Love Unfold. These Two Said “at Least We Have Each Other” And “it Is What It Is!”the Perfect Summer Day. And The Hemeon House Backyard Was Beautifully Decorated With Pastel Pops Of Color That Contrasted Against The Lush, Manicured Hidden Garden Feel. This Was A House That Already Had So, So Many Memories, And Now Would Be Filled With Even More.these Two Had A First Look That Would Have Brought Anyone To Tears. When Matt Saw Hayley For The First Time, The Emotion Shook The Earth. After Sweet Embraces And Unbridled Smiles, They Sat On The Swinging Bench And Exchanged Their Personal Vows With Each Other. What A Beautiful Way To Share A Quiet Moment, Where The Universe Both Melted Away And Felt Whole.the Ceremony Was Gorgeous As The Sun Lit Through The Trees And Smiles Could Be Seen On Everyone. When John, Their Officiant, Asked If They Took Each Other. Hayley Responded “hell Yes” And Matt Responded, “double Hell Yes!” They Both Beamed And Smiled, Laughed, And Threw Their Hands In The Air. Their Friends On The Zoom Call Could Be Seen Celebrating As Well.zanotto’s, Their Family Market And Catering Company, Was Busily Working In The Kitchen As Folks Enjoyed Cocktail Hour On The Front Lawn. What Looked To Be A Masked Flash Mob Approached Down The Street. It Was Their Friends And Family In The Area Doing A Congratulatory Walk-by! the Family Headed To The Backyard For Their First Dance, Then Stunning Dinner By Zanotto’s, Toasts, And A Cake-cutting That Involved Just A Dash Of Icing, Or Maybe A Little More, On Matt’s Face.dancing Commenced On The Front Driveway As Friends Continued To Drive By And Yell Excitedly Out Their Windows While Dancing. It Was A Drive-by Dance Party! The Night Ended With A Lightsaber Dance Party Battle.i Couldn’t Be Happier For These Two And The Incredible Life They Have Ahead! These Two Are Truly, Madly, Deeply Meant For Each Other, And Just As Much In Love. Their Love Radiated And Made Their Wedding So Special To Photograph!
Holly + Cody’s Jw Marriott Las Vegas Wedding Was Held On A Beautiful, Warm November Day. (side Note: How Lucky Are We To Live In A Place Where Weddings Can Go Well Into November And Even December And Still Be Perfectly Clear And Calm?!) The Two Come From Texas And Wanted The Fun Of A Vegas Destination, With The Elegance Of An Off-strip Resort. Holly And Her Girls Got Ready In Beautiful Suite With The Cutest Accessory Of All Time… Norman, The Couple’s Sweet Pomeranian. I Loved The Bridesmaids’ Deep Wine Colored Gowns–so Perfect For A Fall Wedding. Their Ceremony Site Was My Favorite Spot At Jw Marriott: The Lodge On The Lawn. It’s A Gorgeous Place To Have A Ceremony Among The Trees, And Afterwards Guests Go Right Down To The Patio To Enjoy Cocktail Hour Al Fresco. Cody Met His Bride At The End Of The Aisle, With Teary Eyes And The Glowing Sun Hanging Low Behind Them. My Favorite Shot Of The Day Was Immediately Following The Ceremony. After Being Pronounced Man And Wife, The Two Threw Their Arms In The Air And The Crowd Cheered As The Couple Beamed Out At Their Guests–so Joyous! Their Reception Was Held In The Beautifully Renovated Cascade Room, Decorated In A Blush Theme With Pops Of Red And Burgundy. They Danced All Night With The Help Of Their Amazing Band, Even Using A Microphone Stand As A Limbo Pole At One Point! Can’t Beat A Party Where Everyone Wants To Get Down On The Dance Floor. Congrats Holly + Cody!
People Travel From All Over To Take Advantage San Diego's Sparkling Beaches And Year 'round Ideal Temperatures. Perched Atop An Oceanside Cliff At Torrey Pines Natural Preserve, Overlooking The Scripps Pier In La Jolla, And Toes In The Sand Behind The Hotel Del Coronado All Offer Their Own Special Magic! We Love Photographing Our Beaches In All Types Of Light, In All Kinds Of Weather, And Of Course The Sunsets Can't Be Beat????
The Inspiration For This Project Comes From The Wonderful Illustrations From A Girls Book In Which The Main Character Breaks The Curse That Turned A Prince In An Ice Statue, Helped By The Spirits Of The Matrioska, A Gift From The Protagonist’s Grandmother: A Bear, A Wolf And A Phoenix, Which Respectively Bring Back The Spring, The Moon, And The Sun. What Is Striking Is That The Traditional Roles Are Reversed: It Is A Heroine Who Saves The Prince! The Project Has Been Enriched With Symbolisms, Traditions And Meanings Of Russian Culture And Folklore, Giving Life To A Modern Fairytale In Which The Protagonist Is A Bride-heroine, Helped By Her Animal Friends. Traditional Fairytales And Russian Iconography Inspire A Romantic And Nostalgic Wedding, In A Unique Place That Seems To Be A Combination Of History And Modernity. The Bride's Kokoshnik (typical Russian Headdress Worn By Married Women) Is Embroidered With A Design That Recalls A National Pictorial Style, Called Khokhloma: Intertwining Flowers, Branches And Berries, In The Typical Colors Of Russia. The Same Design And The Shape Of The Headdress Are Inspiration For The Wedding Stationery, And For The Mise En Place, While The Wedding Rings Are Kept In A Precious Lacquered Box Illustrated With The Drawings Of Traditional Fairytales. The Embroidered Napkins, The Chargers With Fairytale Scenes By The Great Russian Painters, And The Intertwined Asparagus Fern Runner, Recreate A Winter Atmosphere That Seems Frozen Over Time, As If To Recall The Last Great Romanov Ball At The Winter Palace. After Lunch, According To Tradition, The Meal Ends With A Nice Cup Of Black Tea Enriched With Healthy Herbs Or Homemade Red Fruit Jam. On The Stove, A Recurring Item In Russian Fairytales, There Is A Set For This Moment. The Beautiful Samovàr Is Used To Boil Water And Fill Cups, Which Are Glasses With Silver Bases Decorated With Typical Scenes Of The Homeland. Beautiful Spice Bowls And Spoons Decorated In Ceramic Will Help To Flavor The Tea. For Those Who Prefer Other Drinks, A Typical Plate Holds The Russian Glass Bottles, Which Recall The Spires Of The Kremlin. To Help Our Heroine Bride, There Are The Bear, The Grey Wolf And The Phoenix, Which Appear In Different Forms During The Story. They Are First Transformed Into Ceramics, As Place Cards Or Favors. Then The Phoenix Settles Into The Fireplace And Lets Itself Catch Fire, In Sparkling Red-orange Sparks, To Then Become Silver Ashes. Her Friends Look After And Support It, This Time The Bear Carved In Wood, And The Wolf Warming The Bride With His Fur. Then The Phoenix Reborns From Its Ashes, Purified. In Fact, Its Essence Is Found In The White Wedding Cake, Designed With Clean Lines, And Stylized Feathers That Move Creating Fluid And Curvilinear Movements. A Change Of Clothes Also Marks A Change Of Scene. From The Abundance Of Flowers And Interlaces Of The First Wedding Dress, Which Recalled The Style Of The Khokhloma, The Second One Recalls The Rebirth Of The Phoenix, Purified In The Lines And Shapes, In Favor Of A Cleaner And Simpler Dress, With A Modern Design With Fairytale References Reminded By The Beautiful Wide Sleeves. The Water Reflects Our Heroine In This New Dress As A New Bride, Who Moves In Brighter Places, To Indicate The Future That Awaits Her, Full Of Other Adventures But Always Accompanied And Supported By The Power Of Love: Love For The Prince She Saved, For Her Helpers, And For Herself.
Jewel & Sean Was The Sweetest Couple To Work With. It Was A Beautiful Day.parents, Family, bridal Party And All The Vendors Made This Day Perfect!words Cannot Describe How Happy And In Love They Were <3
Coming To You On The Blog Today Is Ivana And Ben’s Wedding With Few Mixed Vibes, Which Is A Serious Contender For One Of The Most Fun Macedonian Weddings We Have Ever Had The Chance To Not Only Photograph, But To Also Attend. Macedonian Wedding Is Well Known For Its Size, Traditions And Celebrations. But This Modern Couple Decided To Make Their Special Day Different. Apart From The Traditional Orthodox Ceremony, They Went For A Very Modern Industrial And Location For Their Wedding Photos. And They Chose A Contemporary Loft-style Rooftop Venue For The Reception. From Morning To The Night, It Was A Non-stop Stream Of Laughing, Dancing And Merrymaking. As You’d Expect, Not Only The Bride And Groom, But The Bridesmaids And Groomsmen Were Just As Much Fun. I Mean, There Are Wedding Parties… And Then There Are Wedding Parties.
Downtown San Diego Is Fun, Colorful, And Provides Endless Backdrops For Awesome Wedding Day Photos. The Skyline Alone With The View From Above Of The Bay, Coronado, And Point Loma Are Particularly Captivating, And Then The Streets! The Gaslamp Quarter Is Bustling With Chic Restaurants And Neon Signs That Lend A Spunky, Grittier Feel To Your Pictures. The Convention Center Is A Terrific Backdrop Of Clean White And Reflective Glass, And Grassy Lawns And Trees Outside Petco Park Bring A Touch Of Nature Into The Mix. We Love Exploring The Streets With Our Couples To Capture All The Variety That Downtown Has To Offer.
Kat + Jeremy, Golden Malibu Elopement At Point Dume
Kat And Jeremy Are Two Of My Many Sweet Couples Affected By The 2020 Pandemic. I Met Them Both In Early January When We Did Their Engagement Session In Joshua Tree National Park! Since Then, They Have Felt More Like Friends To Me Than Clients. Kat And Jeremy's Original Wedding Was Scheduled For This Past Summer, But When They Had To Reschedule Due To Covid-19, They Took It Gracefully And Did What So Many Others Had To Do. They Got A New Date For 2021 And Planned An Elopement At Point Dume, Malibu In The Meantime So They Could Just Do The Damn Thing And Tie The Knot. Here's The Twist. Twenty-four Hours Before Their Scheduled Elopement, Their 2021 Venue Called Them With The News That They Went Bankrupt And Would Be Forced To Cancel Kat And Jeremy's Wedding. They Were Heartbroken, And On The Eve Of What Is Supposed To Be One Of The Happiest Days Ever. Yes, They Were Planning Elope But They Had Dreamt Of A Huge, Magical Party With Their Closest Friends And Family. Instead Of Letting The News Defeat Them, They Rounded Up Their Resources And In Less Than 24 Hours, Transformed Their Tiny Elopement Into The Elopement Of Their Dreams. They Reached Out To Kat's Initial Mua And Hair Artist, Who Both Happened To Be Available For The Day! They Found The Most Talented Florist To Put Together The Most Gorgeous Dehydrated Bouquet And Turned Something Catastrophic Into Something Beautiful. Kat Looked Absolutely Stunning Floating Around In Her Marchesa Notte Bridal Gown In Bailey. kat Really Wanted To Incorporate A Pastel Color Palette With The Vibrance Of Golden Hour. W Started The Elopement At Around 5 And Ended At Around 7pm As The Sun Was Setting. Iris And Barry Blooms Did Such A Beautiful Job Creating Kat’s Dehydrated Bouquet And Floral Garlands, She Absolutely Nailed It. Kat And Jeremy Also Wanted To Honor Kat’s Indian Roots By Traditionally Exchanging The Floral Garlands During The Ceremony. Point Due Ended Up Being The Perfect Spot For Kat And Jeremy To Exchange Their Vows. We Began On The South-facing Side Of The Cliff, Where The Sun Parted The Coastline In Vibrant Colors Of Green And Turquoise. After The Ceremony, We Walked Over To The North-facing Side Where I Got To Snap Shots Of The Two Of Them Dancing Around And Basking In The Golden Hour Sunlight.kat And Jeremy Had To Deal With A Lot Of Surprises And Handled The Ups And Downs Of Their Wedding Plans With Such Grace And Optimism. I Know This Season Has Been Heavy On So Many, But It Is Such A Light In The Darkness When Love Is Able To Prevail And Two Well-deserving People Get To Go Through With Promising Their Forevers To Each Other, Despite The Circumstances. I Feel So Lucky To Know Them And To Have Been A Part Of Their Adventure.
