Hiring Samantha was the best decision we made during the planning process of our wedding. I have been in the events industry for over a decade but, surprisingly (or not), have rarely been in front of the camera. My husband and I are both introverts and being the portrait subject just made us downright terrified. She was extremely gracious and accommodating and agreed
to drive all the way down to the Outer Banks to capture pictures in a place that holds a special place in our hearts. Sam's communication and reassurance ahead of our engagement session helped us feel comfortable and once we shook off the nerves, we were golden.

Our elopement was very different and we ended the day at my parents' house where they had a small brunch for me and my husband. We invited Sam to join us and we had the best time just sitting around the dining room table (where I've spent many nights and birthdays growing up) talking about any and everything. This will remain one of my fondest memories of the day. My mom remarked a few days later about how much she enjoyed getting to know her.

As someone who generally doesn't like pictures of themselves, I regularly find myself looking at pictures from our wedding and our engagement session both and feeling so grateful that we had Sam to capture our story.
