Hi I’m Nikky, your wedding, elopement, and lifestyle photographer based in sunny Southern California! I’ve wanted to be a photographer ever since I was little.

I purchased my very first camera when I was 10 years with all the money I had saved up from birthdays, Christmas and Chinese New Year’s. My little red Nikon Coolpix became an extension of me, accompanying me on every family vacations and trips. I took pictures of nearly everything and everyone- from family and friends, and even animals. Wherever I went, my trusty little camera was never far behind.

Then, enter the COVID-19 pandemic - a time of uncertainty for many, but for me, it sparked a journey of discovery. With my workplace shut down and school fully online, I took that extra time I gained to hone in on my craft and knowledge. I started doing creative photoshoots with friends around our small town.

This led me to slowly freelance on the side doing graduation and various lifestyle sessions. Once I felt the joy my clients got from seeing their galleries, that was it. Running a business, working full-time while attending graduate school wasn’t easy but I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. This isn't just a job for me; it's a calling, a lifelong love affair with freezing moments in time and turning them into cherished memories.

As a photographer, I find immense joy in seizing and preserving the beauty of fleeting moments in time. Embracing the philosophy that a picture is worth a thousand words, photography has become the essence of my creative expression.
