A Surprise Puppy And Proposal

She said YES! To a surprise puppy AND a surprise proposal!

If you think you’ve seen it all when it comes to proposals, wait until you hear about this puppy proposal where the surprises kept on coming! With each surprise becoming more emotional than the last.

With Love Proposals recently styled the proposal setting for this incredible moment which took place on an elevated lawn overlooking the Brisbane River in Australia.

The Proposal Setup: Dusky Blue Elegance

Moving away from the classic romantic proposal colour palette, we designed a sophisticated dusky blue picnic on a private riverside lawn. With modern white plinths, and soft blue clouds of hydrangeas florals.

Why blue? It was the perfect "decoy" for a high-end date afternoon, celebrating the upcoming surprise gift of a little puppy boy.

Holding hands he led her to the beautiful setting, then asked her to wait while he went to get something.

To her complete astonishment (in the best possible way) he returned carrying a 6 week old puppy Cavoodle - the very dog she had dreamt of owning!

Thrilled to now be puppy parents, she was over the moon, and couldn't have been happier.... until he hinted to her to read the tag on the puppys collar.

Their new furry family member arrived wearing a tag that asked the big question: "Will you marry me?"

With happy tears running down her cheeks, of course the answer was an instant YES!

A puppy and an engagement! The happy tears and the joy flowed.

But there was still one more surprise he had up his sleeve. The final surprise—all their parents who live out of town had flown in to congratulate them and be a part of this very special newly engaged moment. With their strong family values and the close relationship, they each have with their parents, he knew it wouldn't have been the same without them there.

They emerged with picnic nibbles and drinks ready to get in to the spontaneous engagement party!

By having experienced professionals assisting with the logistics, styling, and secret-keeping, this allowed the couple to simply be in the moment.

From the "clouds" of blue flowers to the hidden professional photographer capturing every tear, it was a flawless execution of a dream vision.
