They Both Have Quick-dry Humor, Are Incredibly Playful And Are So Smitten With Each Other (as If You Can’t Tell By The Photos!!!) Some Serious #couplesgoals Are Going On Here. Like A Western Horse, Rancher Babe Meets Hunky Mechanic – Welder. Picture Perfect – For Real!the Vision For This Engagement Session Was 70’s Drive-in With A Romantic & Vintage Feel. Karin + Oscar | Snowy Engagement Session At Lake Almanor
Oscar And Karin Met In Chile. They Speak Spanish Together And Oscar Is Learning English! This Engagement Session Took Place At Her Family’s Lakefront Property. It Was Gorgeous, But More, It’s A Meaningful And Sentimental Location For Them.i’m Going To Be Real Honest Here, This Was My First Engagement Session With A Language Barrier. Going Into It I Was A Little Nervous!making Couples Feel Confident And Comfortable During Their Session Is My Job.i Get To Know Them, Guide Them Through Poses, And Help Them Have Fun. I Was Pretty Sure My Sophomore Spanish From 10+ Years Ago Would Not Do The Trick. Turns Out, It Didn’t Matter! Much Communication Came From Body Language Cues. When That Failed – Karin Was Right There Giggling Away And Telling Oscar What To Do In Her Own Words. This Made For So Much Laughter.i Can Only Imagine, Oscar Hearing Karin Tell Him, “kiss Me” “put Your Nose On My Face And Nussle,” Haha. They Were Such Good Sports! This Experience So Much Fun. You Can See In The Photos Their Genuine Sweetness, And Love For One Another. Click View Gallery Below To Check Them Out!
Indian Wedding At Deer Park Villa, Fairfax California
In The Hindu Tradition, Rain On Your Wedding Day Is Considered Lucky And Believed To Foretell A Strong Marriage And Symbolize Fortune And Abundance Falling Generously On The Bride And Groom. So, When The Rain Started Falling On Sam And Priya’s Wedding Day, It Did Not Dampen The Positive Energy This Couple Exudes. i Had The Joy Of Second Shooting Sam And Priya’s Traditional Indian Wedding At Deer Park Villa In Fairfax, Ca, With Fellow Norcal Traveling Photographer Shannon Rosan. As A Second Shooter, It’s My Job To Capture The Day’s Surrounding Details While The Primary Photographer Works Through Their Shot List. I Started The Day Capturing Getting Ready Photos At The Bridal Suite. Once Everyone Was Ready, Sam And Priya Did A First Look. We Took All Of Their Bride And Groom Portraits Before The Ceremony So They Could Be Wholly Present With Their Guests Afterward. (taking These Pictures First Ended Up Working Out Wonderfully, Too, Because The Rain Held During Their Portraits!) From Priya’s Crimson Veil, Bridal Henna, And Jewelry To Sam’s Golden Mojari Shoes, The Ornate Details Of The Bride And Groom’s Traditional Indian Wedding Wear Were Breathtaking. The Shades Of Red And Gold Stood Out Against The Drizzly Backdrop Of Deer Park Villa’s Abundant Greenery.with Both The Bride And Groom Ready, And Their Portraits Taken, It Was Time For The Baraat! A Baraat Is A Celebratory Horseback Wedding Procession. While It Is Traditionally The Groom That Participates, Sam And Priya Opted To Personalize Their Baraat And Have Priya Be The One To Ride A White Mare To The Ceremony Site. Once Priya Arrived, There Was Then An Epic Dance Party In The Rain All The Way To The Mandap, A Traditional Hindu Wedding Altar. Sam And Priya Held Their Indian Ceremony Under An Ornate Ivory And Gold Mandap, Which Was Itself Under A Tent With A Clear Top To Keep The Rain Out. Sam And Priya Finished Their Ceremony Western-style Personal Vows And A Kiss To Celebrate Their Marriage. the Celebration After The Ceremony Was All About Good Food, Dancing, And Positive Vibes. Sam And Priya’s Reception Was Centered Around Guest Experience And Being Present With Their Loved Ones On Their Wedding Day. The Happy Energy That This Couple And Their Guests Created Left An Impact On Me. I Am Confident That The Luck Of Rain On Their Wedding Day Will Follow Sam And Priya Into Their Marriage.see More Of Their Romantic Wedding By Clicking View Gallery Below.
Alison + Isaiah's Micro Wedding In Sacramento
Alison And Isaiah Always Knew They Were Meant To Be Together—or At Least Alison Always Knew! Alison’s Junior High Crush On Isaiah Remained Unspoken And Therefore Unrequited For Years. Their Families Remained Close Throughout Their Lives Which Allowed For These Two To Develop A Deep Friendship That Blossomed Into So Much More When The Time Was Right. This Couple’s Certainty That They Are Meant To Be Helped Keep Them Flexible And Calm When Their Wedding Shifted Due To Covid From Their Original Vision To A Micro-wedding At Alison’s Parent’s House In Sacramento.we Started Alison And Isaiah’s Wedding Day By Capturing Photos Of Their Wedding Details And The Bride Getting Ready In Her Parent’s Home. Pictures Of Alison And Her Siblings Were All Around The House. These Old Memories Surrounding Everyone Felt So Special As Alison’s Bridesmaids Helped Her Get Ready To Marry Isaiah. alison And Isaiah Did A First Look At An Irrigation Facility Turned Park Around The Block From Alison’s Parent’s Home. The Impromptu Location Turned Out To Be A Beautiful Backdrop For This Special Moment. After The First Look, We Took Bridal Party Photos At The Park And Then It Was Time To Head Back To The House For The Ceremony.the Backyard Of The Zuris’ Home Was Transformed Into A Ceremony Site. A Wooden Arch Adorned With A Floral Centerpiece Stood At The End Of A Short Aisle. Isaiah’s Brother Served As The Ceremony’s Officiant And Both Isaiah’s And Alsion’s Siblings Made Up A Large Part Of Their Bridal Party. The Connection Between The Bride And Groom’s Families As A Whole Made The Day Feel Even More Intimate. Vows Were Given, Rings Were Exchanged, And With A Kiss, Alison And Isaiah Officially Became Husband And Wife!after The Ceremony, The Bride And Groom Took Photos With Their Families At The Ceremony Site. Everyone Then Moved Inside To Share A Meal And Raise A Glass To The New Mr. And Mrs. A Few Happy Tears And Tons Of Laughter Were Shared During The Toasts. The Party Was Then Moved Back Outside To The Twinkle Light Lined Patio Where Alison And Isaiah Shared Their First Dance And Then Danced With Their Families. we Ended The Day With Sunset Photos Of Alison And Isaiah Along A Quiet Bike Path Outside The House. Working With These Two Was Such A Dream. They Were So Flexible And Stayed Calm Through All The Last Minute Changes. They Just Have So Much Love For Each Other And It Radiates Through The Images Captured Of Their Wedding Day. to See More Of Their Romantic, Intimate Wedding Day, Click View Gallery.

Outdoorsy Wedding Weekend At Ovy Camp & Event Center
No Matter How Many Weddings I Shoot, It Is Always Fun To See How Each Couple I Work With Makes Their Wedding Day And Venue Uniquely Their Own. When I Had The Opportunity To Second Shoot Collin And Jessica’s Wedding At Ovy Camp In San Gregorio, This Was Especially True—because Ovy Camp Is Where I Hosted My Own Wedding!collin And Jessica Exchanged Their Vows In The Property’s Redwood Grove Framed By A Wooden Arbor Circle The Couple Made And Stained Themselves. The Modern Wedding Arch’s Caramel Tone Created A Beautiful Contrast Against The Redwood Trees’ Dark Bark And Evergreen Leaves. Collin Wore A Classic Grey Suit, And Jessica Wore A Unique Gown Straight Out Of A Bohemian Wedding Dream. Jessica’s Rue De Seine Nahla Gown Was Flowy Crinkle Chiffon In A Muted Floral Pattern, And The Bodice Featured Crochet-reminiscent Lace Detailing And Cutouts. The Mix Of Classic Details And Pops Of Texture And Color Made Collin And Jessica’s Ceremony Beautiful To Shoot.after The Ceremony And Capturing A Few Shots Of The Bride And Groom And Their Bridal Party, It Was Time For Collin And Jessica’s Reception. To Carry The Ceremony’s Romantic Tone Into The Reception, The Property’s Main Hall Was Adorned With Dried Floral Arrangements, Ivory Tablecloths, And Brass Accents. Collin And Jessica Also Included Many Unique Details And Activities That Showcased The Joys Of Hosting Their Wedding On A Summer Camp Property. From A Tie-dye Station To Various Yard Games, A Live Band, And A Rustic Pizza Oven Where Guests Each Built Individual-sized Pizzas For Dinner, Collin And Jessica Made Their Wedding A Complete Experience For Their Guests. returning To The Site Of My Own Wedding And Second Shooting With Fellow Photographer Shannon Rosan Gave Me The Chance To Be Reminded Of Just How Spectacular Of A Venue Ovy Camp Is. The 100-acre Property Nestled In The Bay Area Peninsula’s Redwood Forests Functions As An Overnight Youth Summer Camp During The Week That Is Available For Events And Weddings On The Weekends. Ovy Camp Offers Its Facilities To Be Rented For A Single Day Or Exclusive Access To The Property For The Entire Weekend. With Cabins And Tent Camping Options, Couples Can Spend Their Whole Wedding Weekend Surrounded By Up To 150 Of Their Closest Family And Friends. There Are Multiple Locations On-site Where A Couple Can Choose To Exchange Their Vows And Dance The Night Away, All Of Which Lend Themselves To Customization. it Was Such A Joy To Be Back At Ovy Camp For Collin And Jessica’s Wedding And See Another Couple Make This Exceptional Venue Their Own. I Will Always Recommend Ovy Camp And Hope I Have The Opportunity To Shoot There Again Soon.see More From This Beautiful, Boho Wedding Day By Clicking View Gallery Below.
Fairytale Wedding At Gardener Ranch, Carmel Valley
On Occasion, As A Photographer, I Find Myself Falling In Love With The Details Of A Client’s Wedding, Which Is Precisely What Happened While Second Shooting For Katie And Doug’s Wedding At Gardner Ranch In Carmel Valley. Being A Second Shooter Typically Means I Get To Hang Back Just A Little More Than I Typically Would On A Wedding Day. As The Second Shooter, My Job Is To Capture The Smaller Details The Day And Venue Have To Offer While The Primary Photographer Works Through The Client’s Shot List. Luckily For Me, Gardner Ranch Had An Abundance Of Swoon-worthy Details, And Katie And Doug’s Touches Played Off Of Those Details Beautifully. gardener Ranch Is A 24-acre Property About 25 Minutes Southwest Of Monterey Nestled In The Sun-soaked Hills Of Carmel Valley. The Canopies Of Oak, Sycamore, And Willow Trees Create A Romantic Diffused Light As The Sun Streams Through The Leaves On The Tree-studded Ranch. One Of The Most Picturesque Parts Of The Property Is The Woodland Lawn. The Naturally Styled Grassy Field And Greenery Beneath The Trees Make You Feel As Though You’ve Stumbled Into A Previously Undiscovered California Meadow. This Tranquil Scene Is Where Katie And Doug Chose To Exchange Their Vows. katie And Doug Let The Beauty Of Their Surroundings Speak Almost Wholly For Themselves. Their Only Addition To The Backdrop Was Arrangements Of Eucalyptus, Feathery Pampas Grass, And Muted Florals To Line The Aisle. They Let The Branches Of A Sycamore Tree Be Their Wedding Arch, And The Lush Grass Be Their Aisle Runner. The Bridesmaids Wore Blush-hued Dresses, And The Groomsmen Wore Navy Blue Suits. Katie’s Gown Had A Beaded Lace Bodice And A-line Tulle Skirt That Felt Airy And Ethereal In The Dappled Lighting. With Vows Exchanged, And Their Union Sealed With A Kiss, Katie And Doug Left The Woodland Lawn Hand In Hand As Husband And Wife.after The Ceremony, The Celebration Shifted To Gardener Ranch’s Clubhouse Patio Beside Its Sparkling Pool. Katie And Doug Chose To Host Their Reception Outdoors Under Market Lights Strung From The Treetops. The Weather Stayed Perfect All Day Long For The Outdoor Ceremony And Toasting The New Couple In The Open Air. When It Came Time For Dessert And Dancing, Guests Were Welcomed Inside By A Cozy Brick Fireplace And Retro Black And White Tile Flooring Beneath Their Feet. The Energy Of The Space And The Joy Of Katie And Doug’s Guests Ensured That The Day Ended Full Of Fun.gardner Ranch’s Mix Of Rustic, Natural Overtones And Its Chic, Elegant Details Lend Themselves To Almost Any Couple’s Style While Ensuring Romance Stays At The Forefront Of The Occasion. Gardner Ranch Also Offers Onsite Lodging Just As Beautiful As Its Celebration Spaces, Allowing Its Guests The Option Of Spending Their Entire Wedding Weekend With The Property As Their Private Paradise. while I Find Details I Love At All The Weddings I Have The Privilege Of Photographing, I Have To Admit That Gardner Ranch Swept Me Off My Feet. I Hope I Have The Opportunity To Return There To Celebrate Another Couple Soon.click View Gallery Below To View Some Of My Favorites From Their Day!
