Summer At The Castle

Last January, Lily and I from Bella's Castle randomly ended up on the wrong Zoom call and once we were done chatting, we were so glad that we got our times mixed up!

After chatting, we knew that we wanted to work on a styled shoot together so after planning and re-planning due to pandemic restrictions we finally were able to see our plans come to fruition late summer.

We knew we wanted to go for a classic and romantic but fresh summer feel and with the picturesque background of the castle, we knew that would be easy to achieve!

We went for a soft lavender and peach palette and added some brighter hues to add some dimension. Prairie Creative Floral went above and beyond with the amount of florals she created and one of my favourite photographers, Aimee dela Lande Photography, captured our couple and the details perfectly.

It was incredibly hot that day and our entire team were total troupers, especially our real life couple who modelled for us! Our bride was absolutely stunning in a gorgeous gown from Pearl and Birch and our groom was looking pretty handsome in a suit from Eph Apparel.

All in all this shoot was well worth the wait and a huge thank you goes out to all of our vendors for being so adaptable and running with all of the updates and changes that came our way.
