It's been over a year since Emily photographed my military + May the 4th / Star Wars + micro wedding in Monterey, California, and it's high time I pulled this review from my drafts and shared it - so here we go:

Emily is one of the sweetest, most talented wedding vendors I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and the privilege to work with. She is prompt in responding to all inquiries, shows up 100% prepared to do her job, rolls with the punches (even if it means enduring motion sickness on a party bus on the twisty roads of 17 Mile Drive!), and helps out with anything she can in a pinch.

Emily is, without a doubt, worth your investment. She will capture your special day and meaningful moments in the most beautiful and authentic way, in a style that is entirely unique and her own. She delivers photos with some of the fastest turnaround I've experienced in my wedding industry career, and before you know it, you (and your loved ones) will be crying over your photos for years to come.

     

My husband and I had the amazing opportunity to work with Emily not once but twice in 2021 for our engagement pictures and in 2022 for our wedding.

She showed up in Detroit to wander around with us for our engagement photos and It was like she had known us forever and was just checking back in. She fell right in step with us immediately and understood the fun, quirky shoot we were wanting to do. These are now by the far the greatest photos ever taken and our album cover save the dates were a huge hit because of them.

Emily then came back to Michigan in 2022 for our wedding and without gushing about her too hard, she was absolutely sensational.

I think the greatest thing about Emily is that she immediately becomes a part of your family or friend group so It never feels awkward having her popping around all over and hiding in awkward spots to get the shot. She just blends in like she’s always been standing behind that tree.

Another wonderful thing about her style is that she gets the moments. She doesn’t just get a photo here and a photo there, she literally captures those moments. Those small bits of time you didn’t think would be note worthy and all the big ones in between. She catches the glances, the smiles, the lean ins, the small gestures, the facial expressions and all the moments that help you look back and feel like you’re right in the day again.

My sister initially found Emily and told us about her and It was the best thing we have ever done. She is without a doubt the number one stunner, OG, friend of the family you didn’t know you were missing. Hire her now.

     

Emily is very personable and easy to hang out with, which makes the whole photographing portion much more natural. Her work is beautiful and she is very professional.

     

Emily is so awesome! I’ve used her for engagement photos, corporate head shots, and now my wedding! She’s a hoot and a half to be around and makes you feel so comfortable around the lens. You’ll undoubtably become her friend at the end of working with her. She’s a rockstar!

     

Emily not only takes the most amazing pictures, but she is an amazing person. We were lucky enough to have Emily shoot our engagement, wedding, and take family pictures after our little girl was born. Her idea to take sunrise pictures in Glacier made our wedding. She truly makes you feel comfortable and like you have known her forever. We are constantly getting comments on our pictures. We are so grateful for her abilities behind and camera and the friendship we have with her and her family! If you are even thinking of booking her do it before she’s booked for the year. You will not regret working with her!
