I'm A Bit Slow In Sharing This Session... Last Friday I Met Up With Adam & Alison In Lake Louise & I Whisked Them Away To Moraine Lake. With Moraine Lake Being Tricky To Get Into, It's Just Easier If We All Travel Together. I Actually Really Like This Drive Time Because Can Chat & Get To Know Each Other Better Before We Start To Shoot.⁠ ⁠ Adam & Alison Are Visiting From Australia. It's Kind Of A Big Deal To Travel Halfway Around The World Keeping A Ring Box Secret. There Were Definitely Butterflies, But When Adam Asked Alison To Marry Him, She Said Yes! Then We Traipsed Around All Over The Rock Pile At Moraine Lake To Celebrate.⁠ ⁠ If You Had Any Say On Where Your Honey Was Going To Propose, Where Would You Want It To Happen?

The Bright Pink Hue Of Its Concrete Stucco Walls With Its Spanish/moorish Styled Architecture And Prominent Location On The Wide Sandy Beach Have Earned It The Nickname Of “the Pink Palace Of The Pacific”. . . ✨this Is A Classic Choice For Your Wedding Day Venue In Waikiki, And Leah Styled Everything With So Many Stunning Details Infused With Her Love Of Pink. . . Marissa And Joey’s Intimate Camp Lucy Wedding It Is An Unusual Thing To Get A Phone Call Asking If We’re Available To Photograph A Wedding The Next Day, But That’s What Happened. The Conversation With Marissa Was Short And Sweet, And Less Than An Hour After The Call, We Were Booked. And Excited. Their Ceremony Was So Emotional, And Their Deep Devotion To Each Other And To Their Little Ones Was A Huge Part Of It. It Just Seemed So Natural When Their Son Wanted To Be In Mom’s Arms For Part Of The Ceremony And For Their Daughter Was Ready With Tissues As They Were Needed. And They Were Very Much Needed. The Day Was Filled With So. Much. Happy.

One Of The Many Things I Love About Elopements Is That The Whole Day, The Whole Trip, Is Just About The Couple. You Travel Together, You Get Ready Together, You Walk Into The Ceremony Together... Well, That's How We Did It For Christie & Teddy's Elopement At Emerald Lake Lodge Yesterday & It Was Just Lovely. Weddings Are Supposed To Be About The Couple But Sometimes That Is Lost With Bigger Events.⁠ ⁠ It Was A Chilly September Day, Just Hovering Around Freezing & Surprisingly, There Was No Snow At Emerald Lake. Following The Ceremony, We Wandered Around The Lake, Took A Trip Out The Natural Bridge (which Looks Amaaaaaaazing This Time Of Year), Topped To Play In The Road For A Bit Before I Returned Them To The Lodge To Warm Up & Enjoy Their Evening Together. Such A Good Day! They Are Headed Back Home Now, But At Least They've Got A Whole Lot Of Awesome Memories To Take With Them!
