There Was A Crazy Snowstorm At @emeraldlakelodge Today. I'm Used To Shooting In Snow But This Was Extra Special. My Cameras Were Soaked Like It Was Pouring Rain All Day, I Could Only See Through My Viewfinder About 80% Of The Time. I Fell Pretty Hard On Ice And Smashed A Camera (it's Still Doing But Will Send In For Service In A Few Weeks Just In Case). My Waterproof Snow Clothes Were Soaked. But These Two Took The Cold And The Snow And Toughed It Out And Made Magic Today! @kathapril_ Was Such A Trooper In The Cold, Wet Snow! Robin, You Did Ok Too! 😆🤣😝

I Love When We Get To See Wildlife, But Still Try To Keep Our Distance For Everyone's Safety. Kathryn & Robin Were Excited To Get Out And Do A Few Photos With The Moose In The Distance. I Love Winter Weddings. Even Though They Are Difficult To Shoot. I Have To Think More About When I Talk And Breathe So That I Don't Fog Up The Photos When It's Super Cold. Like Yesterday's Wedding A @emeraldlakelodge. It Was Cold... Like -16ish. Cold Enough That Steam Was Rising Off The Lake And River. And Balancing Colour Tones With The Natural Blues In The Shadows Versus The Warmer Shades With The Sun And Still Keeping Details In All The Shades Of White. It's Tricky. But I Like To Think I Do It Well. These Two Battled The Cold And All The Snow I Made Them Climb Through (sorry, But The Good Spots Aren't Always Easy To Get To!) And We Made Some Winter Magic! The Snow Looks Like Marshmallows! Seriously, So Perfect!
