Tuesday Kicked Off Wedding & Elopement Season For After A Shortish Break For Me (if You Can Call A Few Weeks A Break!). It's Pretty Much Crazy Time From Now Until The End Of November. Yup. November.⠀ ⠀ Mandy & Sebastian Traveled From Germany And Said Their Vows To Each Other On The Shores Of Two Jack Lake. The Last Few Days Have Been Busy! On Friday I Met Up With Neil & Shruti At Lake Minnewanka In Banff. In Most Normal Places, May Would Be Fairly Warm, But In The Mountains, Not So Much. In Between Bursts Of Rain & Gusts Of Wind, These Two Fought The Cold And We Made Total Magic! I Love That They Braved The Cold And Went Super Formal With Their Outfits! I Love Shooting At Abraham Lake & I Wish More People Would Get Married There, But On The Other Hand, I Kinda Want It To Not Get Crazy Popular So We Can Still Enjoy It. Dilemma.

I Was Back At Moraine Lake Yesterday, My First Day Since The Road Was Re-opened This Year. Originally Kevin Had Planned A Surprise Proposal For Charlene There But He Got Excited And Popped The Question A Day Early! This Was One Of 2 Surprise Proposals That I Was Going To Do At Moraine This Year... I'm No Longer Offering Them As A Full Surprise. I Actually Didn't Sleep The Night Before Out Of Fear For All The Things That Could Go Wrong Trying To Do This At Moraine Lake. I Might Have Cheered A Little When I Got The Email Saying He Had Already Proposed Haha⠀ ⠀ Moraine Lake Was Looking A Bit Different Than Usual Yesterday. It's Still Pretty Much Frozen Except For A Small Open Section, But The Water Levels Also Crazy Low, Like 15 Feet Lower Than Usual Because, I Imagine, There Hasn't Been Enough Melt. It Was Super Tricky To Shoot There, More Than Usual Even, Because There Were People Everywhere In The Background On The Ice. I Almost Never Pull A Photo Into Photoshop, But There Were So Many People And Their Reflections In The Water, I Had To Make It All Go Away Or I Wouldn't Have Been Happy. Swipe To See The Before!
