Right Around The Time We Were Doing These Photos There Was A Loud Boom, The Ground Seemed To Shake A Little And Then There Seemed To Be A Huge Puff Of Snow In The Background By The Victoria Glacier. Yup, There Was An Avalanche When We Were Out On The Frozen Lake! I'm Trying Really Hard Not To Say Something Cheesy About How Their Love Moved Mountains.... Darnit... I Think I Just Did!
I Am Drawn To Water, Especially When There's A Great Reflection. We Totally Lucked Out For Lanie & Shayne's Wedding Yesterday In Canmore! Do You Love The Reflection Too?
Oh My Gosh It Was Windy! Can You Tell? Lanie & Shayne Were Doing Their Best To Not Get Blown Over While I Was Laying On The Rocks Trying To Get This Shot. Worth It For That Back Drop Though! I Might Have A Few Bruises From Laying The Way I Was, But I'd Do It Again To Get This Shot Any Day!
It's A Good Thing I Know My Cameras So Well Because I Couldn't See Anything Shooting In This Crazy Bright Sun And Snow! Turned Out Pretty Well, I Think!
It's Hard To Believe That It's Been Almost 5 Years Since I Found Myself Sailing The Caribbean Seas For Chelsey & Sean's @princesscruises Destination Wedding. I Don't Do Many Destiantion Weddings These Days Because It's So Hard To Leave The Mountains, But It Is Nice To Adventure Somewhere New Every So Often. I'm Hoping To Do One Or Two Destination Weddings In The Coming Years... So If You Are Getting Married Somewhere Cool And Want To Have Me Join You There... Get In Touch!! Let's Make It Happen!
Shooting Portraits On The Lido Deck Was Pretty Awesome... That Bit Of Time Before Sunset Had Such Soft And Pretty Light! And Of Course I Am In Love With All The Blue Tones! Have You Ever Taken A Cruise?
Even With Ocean And Rocky Beaches, I Still Love To Get Into The Trees And Shoot. Same Thing In The Mountains! Yes, I Love The Mountains, But The Trees Hold A Place In My Heart So I Will Try To Sneak Away To Them Whenever I Can!
You'd Never Know It But 100 Feet From This Spot, Sue & I Both Got Caught In The Undertow While Swimming, I Got Cramps In Both Legs, Swallowed A Ton Of Ocean And Nearly Drowned About An Hour After Taking This Photo. One Of The Scariest Experiences Of My Life!! But It Would Have Been An Awfully Pretty Place To Die, Right? What's Your Scariest Near-death Experience?
I'm Headed Back To @emeraldlakelodge This Week, But I'm Pretty Sure It Doesn't Look Like This Yet. Luckily I Love How Emerald Lake Looks With Snow.
On Friday I Am Then Headed To Utah For A Week And A Half And I'd Love To Shoot While I'm There... In Arches Np, Zion Np, The Salt Flats And Anywhere In Between... So If You Wanna Shoot, Send Me A Dm!!
Let Me Know Some Places To Visit Too!
