This Wedding Was Truly Unlike Any Other To Date. We Were Totally Off-grid For This Sustainable Waterfall Wedding. We Traveled To A Remote Location In The National Park Of Rincón De La Vieja. The Ceremony Was By The Las Chorreras Waterfall That Was A 30-minute Ride From The Closest Buildings. It Was Secluded To The Rest Of The World And Gave The Feeling Of Time Stopping In Its Tracks.reagan And Nathan Are Both Americans Living In Beautiful Nosara. Nosara Is A Beachside Paradise With Beautiful Surf Spots And Less Tourism Than The Neighboring Areas.this Paradise Has A Focus On Nature And A Laid Back Atmosphere. This Couple Both Shared A Love And Passion For The Environment And It Showed Throughout Their Wedding. Decor Is An Important Part Of The Wedding For Most Couples, But For Reagan And Nathan, It Was Not Just The Look Of The Decor But Also The Purpose Behind It That Was Important. This Sustainable Mindset Was A Huge Reason We Loved This Couple Right From The Start.their Love For Nature Is Why They Wanted A Remote And Thoughtfully Designed Wedding. They Selected The Perfect Venue, A Beautiful Waterfall Within The Famous National Park Of Rincón De La Vieja. The Couple Really Embraced The Outdoors, Their Ceremony Overlooked The Wonderful Waterfalls Of The Park And Their Reception Tucked Away In The Nearby Forest.their Dream Location Was So Remote That There Was No Road To Access It, Only A Horse Path. So, Of Course, We Hired A Backhoe To Create A Vehicle Accessible Path For The School Bus To Come And Bring The Guests In.with No Electric Source, A Generator Was Brought In To Allow For Music And Twinkling Lights. Paper Straws And Bamboo Plates Eliminated Any Use Of Plastics - Making This A No-waste Wedding. The Furniture Was Made With Local Wood By The Skilled Craftsmen At The Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. The Florist Kept The Centerpieces Very Natural With Locally Grown Fruit, Mostly Foraged And Local Flowers And Led Candles To Eliminate Waste.this Couple Really Illustrated How You Can Design A Pretty Wedding Without Compromising Your Daily Mission In Preserving The Environment. Kara & Kevin Loved Costa Rica, They Had Visited A Few Times Before Sometimes Together And Sometimes Alone. They Had Explored Manuel Antonio Together And Really Enjoyed The Adrenaline Adventures. They Surfed, Went White Water Rafting, Zip-lining, And They Visited The Manuel Antonio National Park Together. They Loved The Outdoor Activities And Knew This Country Would Be The Perfect Destination Wedding Location Because Their Guests Could Take The Opportunity To Explore Too!they Had Never Been To Papagayo So With The Help Of Our Travel Planning Team, They Organized A Wedding Week Adventure By Booking A Catamaran Cruise And Snorkeling Adventure Through Coastal Waters. They, Of Course, Invited Their Guests Along To Explore Too! they All Enjoyed Their Time On The Boat Sunbathing And Relaxing Soaking Up The Best Views In Costa Rica. After Working Up An Appetite They Were Served Fresh Bocas, Appetizers, And Cold Drinks As They Set Sail To Seek More Marine Life. They Also Enjoyed Kayaking From The Boat Making It A Full Day Water Adventure. To Sum Up The Day, They Returned To The Shore To A Beautiful Sunset That Lit Up The Sky. It Was The Perfect Way To Celebrate In Paradise Together With Their Loved Ones.the Wedding Day Itself Was One In A Million. Kara Wanted It To Be Tropical, Modern, Earthy, And Carefree. The Style Was A Dark And Moody Modern Mixed With Bright And Fun Tropical. A Wonderful Contrasting Color Scheme Of Peach, Teal, And Oranges Complemented The Stunning Sunset That Melted Into The Waterline Overlooking The Papagayo Peninsula. the Outdoor Ceremony Was On A Beautiful Sunny Day. The Bride Walked With Her Parents On Her Arm As She Approached Her Handsome Groom Standing Beneath The Very Modern Circular Arch. The Venue Itself Was Such A Great Backdrop As They Said I Do Near The Trees. they Invited About 100 Guests Who All Raved About The Big Day From Start To Finish. They All Enjoyed A Wonderful Handcrafted Menu And Danced The Night Away To The Best Music. this Couple Was Picture Perfect In Every Way With Sweet Demeanors To Match They Really Deserved A Day Like This.
