This Wedding Was Truly Unlike Any Other To Date. We Were Totally Off-grid For This Sustainable Waterfall Wedding. We Traveled To A Remote Location In The National Park Of Rincón De La Vieja. The Ceremony Was By The Las Chorreras Waterfall That Was A 30-minute Ride From The Closest Buildings. It Was Secluded To The Rest Of The World And Gave The Feeling Of Time Stopping In Its Tracks.reagan And Nathan Are Both Americans Living In Beautiful Nosara. Nosara Is A Beachside Paradise With Beautiful Surf Spots And Less Tourism Than The Neighboring Areas.this Paradise Has A Focus On Nature And A Laid Back Atmosphere. This Couple Both Shared A Love And Passion For The Environment And It Showed Throughout Their Wedding. Decor Is An Important Part Of The Wedding For Most Couples, But For Reagan And Nathan, It Was Not Just The Look Of The Decor But Also The Purpose Behind It That Was Important. This Sustainable Mindset Was A Huge Reason We Loved This Couple Right From The Start.their Love For Nature Is Why They Wanted A Remote And Thoughtfully Designed Wedding. They Selected The Perfect Venue, A Beautiful Waterfall Within The Famous National Park Of Rincón De La Vieja. The Couple Really Embraced The Outdoors, Their Ceremony Overlooked The Wonderful Waterfalls Of The Park And Their Reception Tucked Away In The Nearby Forest.their Dream Location Was So Remote That There Was No Road To Access It, Only A Horse Path. So, Of Course, We Hired A Backhoe To Create A Vehicle Accessible Path For The School Bus To Come And Bring The Guests In.with No Electric Source, A Generator Was Brought In To Allow For Music And Twinkling Lights. Paper Straws And Bamboo Plates Eliminated Any Use Of Plastics - Making This A No-waste Wedding. The Furniture Was Made With Local Wood By The Skilled Craftsmen At The Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. The Florist Kept The Centerpieces Very Natural With Locally Grown Fruit, Mostly Foraged And Local Flowers And Led Candles To Eliminate Waste.this Couple Really Illustrated How You Can Design A Pretty Wedding Without Compromising Your Daily Mission In Preserving The Environment. To Kick Off The Weekend With Some 'one On One' Time, This Active Couple Took A Surf Lesson Together. They Surfed In Tamarindo, Which Is Known As One Of The Best Places To Learn In The World. The Next Day They Hosted A Catamaran Cruise. All Of Their Guests Met At A Beachfront Restaurant For Drinks Before Catching Sail On The Water. They Cruised Back In At Sunset. This Was The Perfect Way To Spend Time With Their Loved Ones Before The Big I Do. on The Day Before The Wedding, 11 Boys Headed To Reserva Conchal For Tee Time Golf While The Girls Soaked In The Sun At The Pool. They All Rejoined That Afternoon At A Langosta Beachfront Restaurant For The Welcome Dinner. The Rehearsal Dinner Menu Was So Delish. The Starters Included Goat Cheese Salad With Cucumber, Mango, Brioche Crouton, Arugula,lettuce, And Herbs. Ceviche With Ell Pepper, Lime Juice, Onion, Coriander, And Freshly Caught Sea Bass. Then Moving On To The Main Courses Of Tenderloin Bordelaise Or Tuna Fresco. Then If Anyone Had Room Left For Sweets Guests Could Choose From An Apple Crepe, Vanilla Ice Cream, Or A Coco Dream Cake. the Morning Of The Wedding Was Spent In A Stunning Villa With A Panoramic View Of The Ocean, Casa Ilios. The Guys Woke Up And Took Quick Dips In The Pool Before Getting Ready In The Pool House. The Girls Stayed In The Villa For Hair And Makeup While Snacking On The Fresh Natural Food Catering Of Salads, Wraps, And Fruit.after The Bride Slipped On Her Boho Gown She Was Ready For Her First Looks With Dad. He Was So Giddy To See His Little Girl. He Walked Into The Sea View Room Was Floored At How Flawless She Was. The Groom Waited Patiently At The Stairs To Turn Up And See His Beautiful Bride Looking Down At Him. These Two Were A Stylish Pair. He Rocked A Unique Green Suit That We Absolutely Adored. all Of The Guests Started Slowly Arriving For Their Accommodation At The Resort Hotel Just Up The Road, The Diria, From The Venue. They Were Welcomed With Coco Locos, Which Are Always A Hit. A Live Band Was Playing To Welcome Them And Really Set The Mood For The Event.the Ceremony Was Decorated In Tropical Greenery, White Flowers, White Ginger, White Lilies, Pampas Grass, And Small Pops Of Blush Protea. The Aisle Was Lined With Palm Leaves And The Alter Was Made From Tree Stumps And Geometric Accents, Pillar Candles, And Lanterns. Everyone Took Their Seats With Their Welcome Drinks And Waited For The Bridethe Flower Girls Wore White Leas As They Threw The Petals Down The Aisle For The Bride And Her Father. The Bride Carried Her Bouquet Which Had Lily, White Anthurium, White Orchid, And Roses. She Looked So Excited To Meet Her Handsome Groom At The End Of The Aisle.after The Big I Do, Sealed With A Kiss, They Headed To The Beachfront Cocktail Hour. Freshly Prepared Apps Like Fried Local Organic Goat Cheese With Mango Chutney, Grilled Octopus, Parrotfish Ceviche, Smoked Fish Dip, Fried Plantains, Pineapple Chili Glazed Wings, And Mixed Seafood Were Passed Around. The Sun Started To Slowly Slip Into The Water As Everyone Admired The Colors Change. they Headed Up From The Shore To Find Their Names On Their Seats. The Bride Had Custom Laser Cut Name Place Cards So Everyone Had A Cute Souvenir. Each Table Was Dressed With Long Garland, Green Mangoes, Green And Brown Coconuts, And Tropical Flowers. Brass Candle Holders, Gold Rim Chargers, And Black Chairs Really Brought In A Modern Touch.the Dinner Menu Was Absolutely Perfect From The Starter Salad To The Black Angus Beef Tenderloin And The Grilled Tuna With Jumbo Shrimp. Touching Speeches Were Made About The Couple's Love Story And The Real Fun Began!the First Dance Was On The Custom Installed Dance Floor With Fireworks All Around Them. This Fun-loving Couple Lives In Hollywood, California. Niccolo Is German And His Bride Meghan Is American. They Actually Hired Us With A Short Time Frame To Plan This Destination Wedding. This Couple Really Wanted A Beach Wedding And Booked Everything Themselves For Easter Week. Little Did They Know How Busy And Hectic That Weekend Is In Quepos, Costa Rica, And Hired Us To Help Them Save The Date! They Had Already Planned The Time That They Wanted The Wedding And It Was Actually During High Tide. Little Did They Know That There Definitely Wasn't Space For 100 Guests On The Beach! The Main Beach Is Way Too Busy And Finding Somewhere To Park And Gather Would Have Been Impossible. Once They Realized, We Had To Find A New Solution.we Adapted Everything. We Actually Found A Lot Of Land That Surrounds A Small Beach In The Area. It Is Occasionally Reached By People Taking A Long Hike. We Worked With The Owner To Turn A Walking Path Into A Dirt Road To Allow Drivable Beach Access To The Viewpoint!all Of The Guests Walked Out To The Private Beach With A View Of The Waves Crashing On The Shore. The Ceremony Was Just Above The Sand On The Rocky Part Because Of High Tide. We Had Chairs Set Out Facing The Water And Used Palm Leaves To Line The Natural Rug Aisle. The Couple Stood Under A Beautiful Tepee Arch Decorated With Tropical Florals. They Said Their Vows By The Water And Got The Easter Quepos Beach Wedding Of Their Dreams.the Groom Wanted To Honor His Heritage And Wore Attire Is From A Designer In Africa. They Also Incorporated A Tradition Of Jumping Over The Broomstick In The Ceremony. This Is An African American Tradition That Has Older Origins Dating Back To The Mid 19th Century. It’s Done At The End Of The Wedding Ceremony After The Kiss, The Groom Sweeps The Ground, Symbolic Of Being The Provider, Then Lays The Broom On The Ground And They Jump Over It Together And Walk Down The Aisle As Mr. + Mrs. We Love When A Couple Incorporates Their Meaningful Touches Into The Big Day.they Held Their Reception At The Villa Punto De Vista Rooftop. This Venue Has A Stunning View Too! It Perches High On A Bluff, Overlooking The Sparkling Blue Ocean On The Pacific Coast. We Lit Everything With String Lights And Created A Tropical Glam Look. Simple Palm Leaves Under The Plates And In The Floating Candles With Bright Pink Tropical Flowers.
