Erika And Sean's Luxurious Miami Wedding

Erika and Sean’s love story began on October 28th, 2021, when they met and had their first date at the Hyatt in Yorkville. It was there that sparks flew, and they quickly fell for each other. By Christmas, Erika was introduced to Sean’s daughters, Emily and Ella, marking a key step in blending their lives. As their love deepened, their families bonded, and even their dogs became inseparable companions.

On December 9th, 2022, Erika and Sean took the next step, moving into their new home in North York, ready to build their life together. Both share a deep love for the cottage lifestyle, embracing traditions that define their relationship—whether it’s gathering with family, cooking fresh, homemade meals, or simply sitting together, watching the sunset. The cottage became their sanctuary, a place filled with laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments. 

So, it felt only natural when, on August 19th, 2023—a bright, sunny day at the cottage—Sean proposed. With their puppies at their side and the scenic beauty surrounding them, Sean was looking into Erika's eyes, while she was sitting on his lap by the dock and asked Erika to spend forever with him. She said yes, sealing their love in a moment as timeless as the sunsets they cherish. 

For Sean, it was his second wedding, and he had already experienced the grandeur of a big ballroom celebration. But for Erika, this was her first, and she had always envisioned something more intimate and magical. They both agreed that when the time came, they wanted a destination wedding with a guest list capped at 70 people. Initially, they considered the Dominican Republic or Mexico, but after careful thought, they ultimately decided on Miami. The choice was largely for convenience, and Sean had discovered a Spanish-style mansion that seemed to embody their dream venue.
