A Garden in the Desert
Marissa and Jorden’s wedding at Baja Luna in Los Cabos was an intimate, heart-filled celebration surrounded by earthy elegance and subtle romance. Far from the typical beachfront scenery, Baja Luna offers a desert-garden aesthetic — rich in textures, grounded in nature, and perfect for a couple looking for something unique yet timeless.
From the very beginning, their vision was clear: they wanted a wedding that felt intimate, elevated, and effortlessly romantic — and that’s exactly what we created together.
Ceremony in the Chapel
The ceremony took place inside Baja Luna’s beautiful chapel, a space defined by architectural charm and minimal beauty. We designed the altar using a collection of creamy ceramic pots filled with lush white florals and soft greenery — a blend that felt grounded yet delicate, echoing the surroundings while standing out in subtle elegance.
One of our favorite touches? The chapel’s 18 built-in niches, which we filled with trios and sets of candles — setting the stage for the transformation of the space later that night into a romantic candlelit dance floor.
The Reception: Intimate & Thoughtful
The reception was designed around a long imperial table built from four connected tables, surrounded by chairs on both sides. We intentionally left the center of the table, directly in front of the couple, open — this allowed us to repurpose the ceramic altar pots as a focal point, symbolically tying the ceremony into the celebration.
Every detail of the tablescape was chosen to complement the natural setting:
- Creamy ceramic floral vases
- All-white floral arrangements
- Layers of candlelight in various heights
- Natural-toned wood from the tables and chairs
As the sun set, the table began to glow — candles flickered, ceramics shined softly, and every guest felt like they were part of something incredibly special.
Dancing in the Chapel
As dinner gave way to dancing, we invited guests back into the chapel — now transformed by candlelight and music. With candles glowing from every niche, the space took on a new energy: still romantic, but now filled with joyful movement and connection.
It felt like a secret garden party under the stars — but surrounded by the rustic walls of a place that had just witnessed the couple’s vows.
A Meaningful Milestone
As my second wedding under Estefani Pina Events, this one will always hold a special place in my heart. Marissa and Jorden’s trust allowed us to create something deeply personal and truly beautiful.
From the intentional use of white florals and creamy ceramics to the clever transformation of spaces, this wedding was a reminder of what can happen when design meets emotion, and love leads the way.
