Catholic Wedding In Detroit Michigan

Catholic Wedding In Detroit Michigan

My first ever wedding in a Catholic Church was held at this gorgeous church in Detroit Michigan. Growing up Catholic, I was familiar with all the moving parts of the Mass, but I had never been to a Catholic ceremony before this.

Emily & Zach were married in the middle of the day at St Florian's, followed by an evening reception at The Palazzo Grande in Sterling Heights Michigan. It's quite common for Catholic ceremonies to be midday because they are scheduled around what the church has planned already (Adoration, Reconciliation, etc). I gladly assist my couple's with timeline planning so we can plan a smooth flow of the day, especially when a ceremony is at 1:00 and a reception starts at 6:00!
