is an elegant historic estate in Manchester Village, Vermont with a 1902 mansion, rolling lawns and gardens and fabulous views. We can accommodate 200+ guests for a wedding reception and 125+ overnight guests on our 30- acre hilltop and nearby mansions. It is the perfect location for the destination country wedding of your dreams.

The views from our hilltop of the surrounding mountains are gorgeous in every season. You can plan a full weekend of activities for your family and friends to enjoy together, including rehearsal dinner, bonfire, brunch, farm tours, hikes etc -- plus pool, tennis and lawn games right on our property. Ceremonies are held outdoors on the hilltop, with a grand entrance down the marble staircase. The mountains make a dramatic backdrop. There is room to roam, surrounded by thrilling mountain views, sculptures and art to inspire your creativity. (In the event of rain, the ceremony can be held under the Mansion Awning or under the Pavilion Tent.)

Our facility fee include tables and chairs, 10 hours of advance meetings with our wedding coordinator and day-of coordination throughout your entire wedding weekend. You are welcome to bring your own caterer or use our in-house team. The Wilburton chefs create delicious menus ranging from rehearsal dinner BBQ to elegant banquets, all of which can be customized to your taste. Our reception catering packages include cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and display platters. Plates, glasses and tableware are included in our in-house catering rates. We are affiliated with Earth Sky Time Farm, which bakes the wood-fired bread served at breakfast and events, and can provide farm to table vegetarian catering. A spectacular bonfire party, complete with s'mores and sparklers, is a unique way to welcome your guests or cap off the celebration.

All the hilltop lodging rates include a full country breakfast. You can invite guests staying elsewhere to join for a day-after celebration breakfast with a view - indoors or outside on the terrace or hillside.

Best Wedding Venue Ever – A Billion Out of 5 Stars!

The Wilburton is the perfect wedding venue. It truly doesn’t get better than this.

Location & Setting
You get the amenities of Manchester at your fingertips while feeling like you're in your own secluded kingdom, surrounded by breathtaking 360-degree views of the Green Mountains. This place is a hidden gem.

The Mansion – A Dream Venue
The historic Art Deco mansion is stunning. Normally, a property this grand would be a museum, roped off with security. But here, they make it clear: this place is yours for the weekend. You feel at home—but in the coolest home imaginable. Your guests can freely explore, adding to an unforgettable experience.

Seamless Layout & Guest Comfort
The layout is flawless. From the bridal suite, I watched the ceremony setup unfold and saw guests trickling in. Everything is steps away—the farthest guest room is under a two-minute walk to the ceremony. From there, it's a short, scenic stroll to the terrace and tent for the reception, all set against gorgeous marble architecture.

One overlooked wedding detail? Bathrooms. The mansion has elegant restrooms nearby, and with guests staying on-site, they could use their rooms—so no bathroom lines! Need to grab a jacket, touch up makeup, or charge your phone? You can do so without missing a thing. If you have a dog, it's easy to check on them—or even bring them back to the dance floor (our guests did!).

Incredible Food
Choosing a caterer can be nerve-wracking, but the Wilburton’s food is exceptional. If you tried every caterer in the country, this would still be #1. Fresh, local, and plentiful—they do not skimp. The hardest part was picking appetizers and entrées because we loved them all!

Their wedding tasting event is genius. It’s set up like a real wedding—cocktail hour with appetizers, a seated dinner with entrée samples, and drinks to try. You also meet other couples, swap planning tips, and experience the top-notch service firsthand.

World-Class Service & Staff
The Wilburton’s team is extraordinary—polished, professional, and genuinely invested in your day. A perfect example: an hour before the tasting event, I realized I forgot to RSVP for my plus one. I let a waiter know, expecting chaos. Instead, they discreetly rearranged seating, added food, and learned my guest’s name—all without anyone noticing. Seamless.

Beyond the breathtaking venue and amazing food, the best part of the Wilburton is the people. They are transparent, organized, and truly want you to have the best day of your life.

A special shoutout to Meesha, who made wedding planning effortless. She was incredibly responsive, unbelievably organized, and guided us through everything. I had zero worries on my wedding day because I knew Meesha had it handled. That level of trust is priceless.

Final Thoughts
I don’t know any other brides who felt this relaxed and confident on their wedding day. That alone is a reason to book the Wilburton. If you’re considering it—DO IT. You won’t find a more stunning, welcoming, or well-run venue anywhere.
