Epic Love Story On Guernsey Island

The charm of the wedding began when we arrived on the little paradise island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands, the bride’s home yet a secret to many.

The magic of the weekend began to sparkle through the uninvited rain – at first a glance a disaster, at second glance the secret ingredient. An injection of drama into the fire dancers performance and a glistening setting for an impromptu first dance in the rain.

A perfectly blended mixture of romance, old school glamour and magic, surely an atmosphere only their select crowd of guests could have created. Guests from all corners of the creative industries gathered from all over the world to celebrate the love of Olivia & Bart, a setting one might have imagine straight out of a black and white movie.

To summarise the setting of the wedding; a magical secret garden dusted with morning due, pierced by bright sunlight as it shone over the pure white wedding ceremony in the family home’s rustic yet glamorous courtyard behind the house. The evening was wild with laughter and champagne – the frequency of corks popping was as though there fireworks were set off all night. With several dress changes and an effervescing excitement build up over the 12 man band, this wedding was a night to remember.
