When planning their Silo wedding, Paige + Bruce knew that they wanted everyone to have a good time. "This is why we incorporated so many different aspects," Paige says. "We had yard games like Jenga and cornhole, the bounce house was a hit for kids and adults, there was a VW photo booth bus, and we had an eight-foot charcuterie board followed by hand-carved prime rib, then tarts and wedding cake after. There was a food truck with late-night munchies to end the night."
One of Paige's favorite details was the vintage decor she and her friends collected. "We had over 300 vintage cups for our guests to take home." The decor also included vintage brass candlesticks and antique furniture for lounge areas.
"The live band made up of my brother-in-law and his closest friends made for great entertainment. There was every era and genre you could imagine, like masking 'Proud Mary' by Creedence Clearwater Revival with 'Lose Yourself' by Eminem - with that mashup, we had my 85-year-old grandfather-in-law dancing beside me!" The first dance was to "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" in the style of Brennan Villines.
