There are so many ways to create a perfect wedding that sometimes you can choose between different styles and it can become the perfect wedding in which to say "I do" with the love of your life. This is the case of this amazing editorial we did to create inspiration about different types of weddings that can be organized and created, such as a Gatsby style wedding. For their big day, they chose the Torre Urquinaona, a rationalist style building in the center of Barcelona, from which you have views of the incredible skyline of the Catalan metropolis, where they decided to set this editorial in the madness of the 20's and 30's, a wedding in the purest Gatsby style.
The bride wore a beautiful dress ¾ V-neckline, loose at the waist and sequin embroidery, similar to those of the era of the early twentieth century, finished in a fall with bangs at the bottom and accompanied by a white booties that made her a stunning figure. Elegance is mixed with festivity at its best. A combination of good taste and sophistication.
The groom wore a black pants suit and jacket, with a white shirt and a flower as a brooch.
To set the room in the 20's, we must take into account the characteristic details of yesteryear, such as the excessive use of gold mixed with black, glassware and tableware with elegance. Let's think that the excess of details and decoration was something very representative, and what better way than to recharge the room with a good floral decoration. It was an enthusiasm to create something so beautiful and full of color and celebration!
On the part of the stationery, creating a type of minutes, invitation and place cards in that style, makes that both you as wedding planner and the bride and groom, gave free rein to their imagination, to a part of their imagination that they themselves had not even thought of, giving golden touches with vintage styles, in the best Gatsby style.
This editorial became iconic, full of unforgettable moments. From the creation and setting of the room in the styles of the 20's to the moment when the bride and groom say "I do" in front of a large glass window with the sunset, which gave them some images worthy of admiring by the Deone team.
The entire wedding was inspired by the era of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, The Great Gatsby, so all the details, including the dress code of the guests, followed the aesthetics of the 20's. The original wedding video was taken care of by the professionals of Deone, who managed to create a unique and very special memory with which to remember that special day for the rest of their lives.
