Fruit Inspired Mini Wedding In Nyc

Summer is a popular season for weddings and celebrations. Not only are there tons of beautiful flowers to choose from, but also an abundance of delicious fruits. Inspired by the cheerful colors of various berries, grapefruit, lime and peaches, designers from @yourstrulyflowers and @anntremetcake created an intimate summer celebration full of colors and flavors.

The Setting

The lush greens in the garden provides a natural backdrop, framing the focal point of the area. Situated under tree shades, the garden table is decorated with a cascading floral runner which blends florals and cranberries. This versatile runner can also be repurposed into a sprawling arrangement which frames the bench.

The Cakes

The black forest cake is covered with simple white buttercream and decorated with delicate florals. The jasmine vine rests elegantly at the bottom, framing the shape. The other cake features a more modern look. The structural shapes are balanced by the soft cascading florals. Strips of black fondant resembles the city skyline. For couples looking for an urban vibe, this cake design is the way to go.

Hand Tied Bouquet

This garden style bouquet consists of lush florals mirroring the colors of the various fruit: peach, orange, pink and green. The light blue silk ribbon was selected to compliment the colors in the bouquet.

The Boutonnières

The matching boutonnieres feature peachy yellow and blue green tones. The design is finished off with a complementary blue velvet ribbon.
