As a planner, my goal is to rid you of the stress and frustration that so often accompanies wedding & event planning. I deal with all scheduling, logistics, paperwork, emails, phone calls and anything and everything in between so that you don't have to. My goal is to create an environment where you can be expressive and honest, helping you to enjoy not only your wedding day, but the entire planning process.

My name is Jocelyn and yes Bacon is my legal last name and I’ve been rocking it for almost 5 years now! The people you see in the photos below are the ones my heart holds closest; My husband Vince, a high-end finishing carpenter in Vancouver, and our two children, Jade & Logan. 
I started Jocelyn Bacon Events in 2015 out of my apartment in Abbotsford, BC when I helped plan my roommates wedding as well as my own. I am very detail oriented and strive to ensure every little task is met with excellence. I have always loved a good to-do list. I’ve been known to even put the easiest things on there like taking a shower just to have the satisfaction of checking things off the list. 
Growing up, I lived in over 10 houses, 3 of which my parents designed and built themselves. They always worked hard at making each home beautiful and I have always been inspired by their drive and vision to create something amazing for our family. It is from my parents, that I get my creative passion to envision beautiful and unique events for my clients and help to turn them into a reality!
