Owner and lead planner, Alyson Thompson is a Chicago native with over a decade of combined experience in weddings, hospitality, catering and event management. She uses her industry knowledge and creativity to help couples navigate their unique wedding planning process. Whether it's creating your wedding vision from scratch, or fine tuning the details, Birdcage and Blushers is passionate about minimizing stress during planning and making sure you have a memorable wedding day.

Working with Alyson made the whole wedding planning process very simple and easy. We were often asked if we were stressed about the planning of the wedding and our response was always, "Nope, we hired a great planner." Beginning with the initial venue list, which was very thorough and helped us nail down our eventual wedding location, to the initial mood board and floral/decor recommendations, Aly fully listened to our wants and needs and helped us execute them. Overall, Alyson was great to work with and we'd recommend her services to any couple looking for a great planner.
