Hi there! My name is Ariana Nicole Ruehle. Isn’t it funny how our adult lives often parallel our childhoods? Before I photographed hundreds of weddings and portraits, my love for photography began in a middle school darkroom where I learned exactly how to transform the impression of an image into a full-blown photograph just by mixing chemicals on paper. Capturing everything from pets to nature, camera in hand, was my happy place. I won awards for my photographs and even captured images for the school yearbook. 

Somehow, I had it in my mind that I would major in interior design in college. But photography always called me back. So I ditched plan B and received my BFA degree in Photography & Business Marketing from the University of North Texas. 

In school, I was discouraged from pursuing wedding photography in favor of fine art, but after years as a destination wedding photographer, I’ve found that wedding photos tell the greatest story of all: your unmatched love. It’s why I’ve photographed weddings for the past 10 years. There’s nothing I’m more passionate about than the rhythm of a beautifully planned wedding, the emotion of it all, the energy of a day so filled with love & infectious with joy.
