AFFORDABLE COUTURE BRIDAL WEARLocated in Central Florida, with her husband and cats, Desireé Marie Design was founded in 2011 on a passionate love for vintage and unique garments. Desireé combines her BFA in Fashion Design & Merchandising, years of experience in retail, boutiques, and working under other designers and seamstresses to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Working one-on-one with brides to create dresses just as unique as they are. Believing in slow-fashion, Desiree aims to create dresses that will be cherished, and treasured for decades. Repeatedly finding new ways to recycle her past designs, and fabric scraps to reduce waste, and using recycled kraft boxes, and acid free white tissue paper to ship all her pieces.She loves to work with brides on refurbishing their mother’s gown, and helping brides who already have a dress get the perfect fit with alterations. Desireé doesn’t work from the typical fashion calendar, and only creates a small collection each year of her own designs and everything else she creates is made-to-order. Her work has been featured on the cover of Austin Wedding Day Magazine, and in BRIDES, British Vogue, The Tampa Bay Times, En Vie and Elegant Magazine. She has participated in Tampa Bay Fashion Week, PAFW competitions 2013, 2014, and Big Fake Wedding Austin 2015, 2016. She has in addition made a custom piece for the Oscar Blandi team for a trade event.
