An artist before all else, Barbara’s love of fashion stems from her love of art. Her dresses are not just simply designs - they are handcrafted, well-loved pieces of wearable art that incorporate her eye for fashion and her fine art degree. After taking over for her mother, Eugenia Couture in 2012, and launching her own brand in 2016, Barbara consistently designs new collections that are close to her heart. She has been in the bridal industry business for 17 years. The opportunity to create wearable art and fashion that inspires people to be the best versions of themselves is what excites Barbara to keep pursuing her career as a designer. While she adores creating wedding gowns for her beautiful brides, she finds herself the most inspired when designing “out of this world” pieces with spray paint and various textures.  The BK team envisions a world where it is commonplace for people to express their feelings and individuality through high fashion couture, and that this luxury should not just be for the rich and famous at red carpet events, but for all the enjoy on their wedding day or big event.  The story behind Barbara Kavchok Bridal is simple- she is an empowered, women-run brand whose main goal is to create made with love designs for her brides in order to help them express their infatuation towards their partner on their big day.
