We are pleased to introduce you to the beauty and magic that Under the Oaks Farm can provide for your special day.  Under the Oaks Farm is a privately-owned and managed 100-acre event & wedding estate situated in the beautiful Virginia countryside foothills that offers a personal, intimate and memorable experience for those who seek a unique and spectacular wedding experience and appreciate the simple beauty of the Virginia countryside. Our mission is to open our beautiful farmhouse and estate to you on the best day of your life.

The simple elegance, personalized attention and southern hospitality that we offer at Under the Oaks is much different from that you expect from larger venues. The estate has been owned for several generations by the Austin family, and remains a current vacation residence for the family to this day.
The history of the home dates back to the turn-of-the-century, where the property served as the ice house for the region. In 2018, the owners renovated the farmhouse and barn cottage, pre-serving the original architecture and existing furnishings. The estate is authentic, historic, and eager to be the hosting venue for your most important day!
The Austin family has a history of hosting a variety of galas, special events and weddings for years, and will guide you through the experience that this lovely estate can offer. With over 20 years of event planning experience, your on-site coordinator is available to collaborate with your choice of vendors or can assist you with the vendor selection process.
Under the Oaks Farm offers a variety of wedding day packages, with optional lodging options on-site. The main farmhouse can sleep ten guests comfortably, with a barn cottage also available to sleep an additional three guests.
Our onsite caretaker will assist you with your stay, making it the most comfortable and enjoyable experience. Whether it’s stoking of the fire or preparing some sweet tea for guests, we strive to make sure that your every wish is granted during your stay!
