The Maxwell is an upscale wedding and event venue recently built in Raleigh, NC to accommodate events up to 300 guests. The Maxwell is favored by hosts who like to show their originality and unique style. The distinctly elegant space boasts 18' vaulted ceilings, white washed brick, reclaimed oak wood accents, a lush lawn, and an open air patio. Our clients experience thoughtful planning and an impeccable level of service.
The Maxwell is characterized by its clean and simple designs, where your wedding theme can shine. The main reception room offers soaring vaulted ceilings embellished with magnificent chandeliers and modern pendants. Large windows allow natural light to flood the space, highlighting the magnificent fireplace and herringbone walls. The extensive outdoor patio offers a perfect backdrop for outdoor ceremonies, as well as providing a plethora of opportunities for wedding photos. This property also contains a Lounge area, offering an idyllic space for cocktail hours and intimate receptions. Dressing suites are available, providing a serene space for the wedding party to prepare ahead of their big day.

Working with The Maxwell was the best experience during our wedding planning process! From the first venue tour we knew it was the perfect place for our celebration. Everyone on the staff is attentive, genuinely nice, and makes you feel welcome. Many of our guests that interacted with the staff commented on how nice and helpful everyone was. Every time we attended a showcase before our wedding, they warmly greeted us and asked how the planning process was going. Then once we got closer to the big day, Maddie was so responsive to any questions we had, and she helped us finalize details so that we had confidence that everything was in order. The venue itself is gorgeous – the photos online don’t do it justice! There are so many spaces for all our guests to enjoy dancing, lounging, or taking in some air on the patio/lawn. The Maxwell’s space provided us with the flexibility to add in so many design elements to achieve the look and feel we wanted for our wedding. If you are in the process of deciding on a venue for your wedding/event, you will not be disappointed with The Maxwell. They were the best decision we made!
