About
The historic Stuart's Opera House is a non-profit performing arts center and event space located on the Square in Nelsonville, Ohio. Originally built in 1879, our historic theater, newly renovated Grand Lobby, and additional available spaces are perfect for your wedding day. Get married on our historic stage, or host your reception in our beautiful, brand new 4,000 square foot Grand Lobby. In addition to weddings, Stuart's hosts over 75 events a year including live music, theater, visual art, and arts education programs.
