Stonegate Manor Events

Stonegate Manor's estate has enjoyed a rich history including an active center of commerce, a station on the Underground Railroad and now its transformation into a timeless garden wedding venue. Romantic outdoor features include 12 acres of lush land surrounded by preserved forests. We offer two outdoor ceremony locations, the twilight-like groove under a cathedral of tree's we lovingly call the Fairy Garden, and our Classic Pergola on the front lawn. Approximately 200 guests can sit in the Fairy Garden and even more around the Pergola. We also offer two reception spaces! The Riverside Reception Room has an open air, all white vaulted space with air conditioning and heat, waterfall string lights and more. There is a catering prep area and indoor wash rooms. 180 seated guests can dine inside and dance under our Estate Tent, the second reception area. If you choose to dine and dance outside under the Estate Tent we can seat 200 + guests. The venue is 7 minutes from Lake Michigan beaches; and 10 minutes between St. Joseph's silver beach community and Benton Harbor's art district. We operate May - December. We are the perfect destination between Chicago and Detroit; located 2 hours from either direction! There is plenty of space for you to create your dream celebration in a beautiful, classic estate, filled with endless possibilities!
