My wife and I were fortunate enough to have our wedding at the Medici Villa and it was more incredible than we could ever have imagined. First of all, the venue is stunning. Not only is the setting insanely idyllic - with gorgeous views of Florence and the surrounding countryside - but the villa itself, unlike many others, has remained true to its original rustic grandeur. I grew up in the area and have been to many of the venues around Florence, and of all of them this is hands down the most beautiful and authentic.

And then there's the staff... Eric, who runs the venue and handles events, is beyond lovely and professional. He keeps his head when all around are losing theirs (as tends to happen with a wedding!) and he does it all with a big friendly smile. He also leads an amazing team who are extremely experienced and will do anything to make sure your event goes just the way you want it. We really couldn't have been in better hands.

So basically, if you're thinking of getting married in Tuscany (and why wouldn't you be..?) this is where you should do it. I couldn't recommend it more highly - to the point where I'd say if they're already booked on the day you had in mind, consider changing the day! It's that good...
