Hi friends! I'm Amanda. I'm lucky enough to have been born & raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, + currently live in Spokane, WA with my bff/husband, Danny + our kitty, Fitzgerald. You'll probably hear me talk about them a lot. Since 2015 I have stood beside more than 50 couples on their wedding day, documenting films you can feel by focusing on cinematic, emotion-focused moments that take you right back to the heart of the day.

You're throwing the party of your life because you chose this moment to marry your favorite person. A few years from now you may look back on your wedding day + endearingly notice all the "things" you might choose differently if you could do it all over again. But you'll never forget the way that day feels. I consider it an honor to being invited to box up those visual memories; the joy, the jitters -- the moment it hits you that everyone in the room is here just to cheer two of you on. How bumpin' that dance floor was. Those are forever feelings.

I’m here to create something that takes you right back to the moments you'll miss the most -- that laugh all day, take your breath away, perfectly imperfect, holy sh*t we're really doing this, happy tears, dance all night, champagne poppin', freshly wedded bliss. You know, really really good stuff.
HOW I WORK
+RELATIONAL
What’s important to you is important to me. I view our time together as a creative partnership with you in the driver’s seat. I hope to spend time learning about you + your story so that when you watch your film or scroll through your photo gallery it feels real, beautiful, + like home to you. As much as I promise to capture all the pretty wedding day details you've thought of for months (+ trust me, you know I love a good detail shot!) my favorite wedding imagery will always, always, always be the ones filled with you + the people you love.
+HONEST
I want your keepsake wedding imagery to feel like it was delivered by an old friend. Someone who knows your story, + values both the big + little moments that made up your wedding day. I don’t think that artful + posed need to be mutually exclusive. I aim to deliver artistic, professional + meaningful imagery with true-to-the-moment reflections rather than “scripted” scenes + poses.
+SIMPLE
There is nothing worse than having a clunky, distracting camera set-up blocking your view at a wedding. I have chosen to work with a relatively limited set of low-profile gear compared to others in my industry, This allows me the freedom to be a more discrete guest during events + to move quickly to catch important moments as they come. I’ve invested in a small number of state-of-the-art pieces of equipment that I love, so that can I offer affordable, efficient + creative work to you without distracting your guests from the main attraction (you two! ;) duh!) Like my momma always said, less is more.
