Diana Romo Weddings

     

We had the pleasure of working with Diana and her team over the past year and the experience was nothing short of amazing. I'm a fashion designer myself, so I had very specific ideas of what I wanted in the design and feel of my wedding day and Diana completely captured my vision. We wanted a dark, moody, and romantic feel with a tarot/"til death do us part" theme. Every detail was stunning - from the tarot card seating cards, and breathtaking florals, to the dripping candles - every element was placed with intention and care. Our wedding wasn't just another wedding reception - it was an event. If you are thinking about a wedding in the Riveria Maya, she is the planner you NEED. She has all the connections to the best venues and vendors and her team is incredibly organized and easy to communicate with. I also want to add that Diana is just an all-around awesome human being - warm, down to earth, and honest. We're sad our time working together has come to an end...who knows maybe we'll do a vow renewal one day!

     

If Diana Romo left wedding planning to run a Fortune 500 company, I wouldn't be surprised. She was one of the most kind and professional people i've had to work with and we have zero regrets hiring her as our wedding planner.

My wedding was the best day of my life and that was in no small part thanks to her.

My husband and I got some of the worst food poisoning we've ever experienced prior to our wedding. Seriously, we thought we were going die. Diana managed to get an IV sent to our villa the Rosewood before our Rehearsal Dinner and it brought us back to life. This just one example of how Diana goes above and beyond for her clients.

Another Diana moment, I won't forget, was when we asked Diana if we could switch the venue where we were getting married, ONE DAY before getting married. There wasn't even the slightest hesitation, she just made it happen.

Thank you Diana and Karen for all your support during our wedding. You both made this a stress free day for us.

     

Where do I even begin? To start our wedding planning journey, I interviewed 5 planners in the Mexico/Riviera Maya area. The moment I spoke to Diana...I knew I found my person :)

I had quite the challenge, planning a 100 person plus wedding in under 6 months (and I had an idea of exactly where I wanted it) but from the moment we met...we were lock step!

Diana and her INCREDIBLE TEAM, were the most incredible PARTNERS. They went above and beyond on every single step. It's not easy to plan a destination wedding & it's not easy to plan a destination wedding with our time frame, yet she delivered! She over-delivered.

I can't imagine having planned this wedding without D and her team, and our result was a wedding that exceeded our wildest dreams.

She helped find the perfect partners, she came to the table with an incredible vision for ALL elements (the big and small) she helped bring all the pieces together and truly deliver on our vision. The best part, our guests couldn't believe how magical the weekend was. There was no stone unturned, no detail forgotten and it all soared at our wedding. Our friends are saying it was the most epic wedding of their lives, they are still talking about it.

I will say that she never settled. Many people had disco balls, we want ed gold ones = she found them. Many people love tequila, we wanted a shot bar in honor of my husbands sports bar Sluggers = she made it happen. I trusted her and the team and they never faltered.

If you are planning a wedding in Mexico...there is only one choice. I would make the choice to work with Diana, Karen, Isabel and her wildly talented team = 1000000 times over.

I just wish we could go back and do it all over again :)

     

Diana Romo and her team made our dreams come true for our wedding. She absolutely exceeded all of our expectations and made the most memorable, beautiful time for us and our guests. Her energy is so infectious and positive and joyful that just having her around to show us the way was worth it in and of itself. Diana was organized, in control, creative, professional, and brought so many wonderful ideas to the table and made them reality. We had our wedding on a remote island which could have proven difficult to arrange, but Diana came through with fantastic vendors, organized special surprise performances for our guests, and managed to safely get all of our wedding guests to and from the island with ease. I could not recommend her enough and could never imagine having such a wonderful, stress free, joyful wedding day and wedding week. So many of my guests told me this was the best wedding they have been to in their entire life. I cannot wait to renew my vows in a few years so we could do it all over again with Diana Romo and her team! Thank you Diana!!

We had our wedding during COVID and they were absolute God-sends in helping us navigate the ever-changing wedding landscape. Their holding our hand and working so hard with our vendors during that time was invaluable.

On Diana — she is the one you want on your team! She has so many years of experience in Riviera Maya and it showed at every turn of planning. Because she is a gorgeous-spirited person and incredible at her work, her connections are endless and she goes above and beyond to make sure you are getting the best deal and best vendors possible for your big day!

The day of my wedding, I didn’t have to worry about one single thing. Cony stayed with me during the day and I’ve never felt more taken care of! The DRW team just cannot be rivaled.
