MY NAME IS CHRISTINE CHEN, A SEATTLE-BASED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER, AND I WOULD BE HONORED TO TELL YOUR STORY.I remember my very first camera- the polaroid sticker camera (remember those?). I begged and begged for it for Christmas and the day it came, I was hooked. I grew up as “the girl who was always taking pictures” in my group of friends and carried around my camera everywhere I went.   
Why photography? There's just something about the ability to pause a moment and hold on to it forever. When I'm taking photos, you'll often find me with a big goofy grin behind the camera. I find so much joy in being able to help others hold on to memories for a lifetime. It also allows me the honor of meeting some of the coolest couples and families and getting to know their life stories.
When I'm with you, my style is extremely relaxed to make you feel at ease, like you are with a friend who you'd grab drinks with and can be yourself around.  Behind the scenes I will stay organized and in lock-step with you to make sure we don't miss a beat or a moment on your wedding day.  While I make sure to always get the family-frame-able portraits, my favorite photos are the raw, candid moments that help you relive the feelings of your wedding day - your mom smiling at you from the corner of the room while you get ready, your best friends sharing an inside joke at their table, your dad wiping a tear during the ceremony, or your uncle breakin it down on the dance floor.  These are the moments I live for, the reason why I love what I do and the moments that will allow you to FEEL the emotions from your wedding day for ever and ever. I want you to be able to be 100% authentically yourselves as a couple so whether that means your perfect wedding is a beachside intimate ceremony, at a glamorous mountaintop chateau or in your backyard drinkin' beer, eating pizza and ending with a massive dance party, I am ready for it.
