About

a little about who I am...my name is Stacy Frick. I am not very good at talking about myself, much-less bragging, so I am going to make this short. (by the way, you can call me FRICK, that should give you a little insight about my personality) I was born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I moved to the Desert Southwest in 2000 to escape the brutal winters. I retired from a "real job" as a flight Attendant for United Airlines after 20 years and started my passion in Photography. I am going on 11 years as a full time professional photographer. I started my Wedding Photography career in Las Vegas, NV, "The Wedding Capital of the World" (weird as it may be) and have experienced quite a lot of "unique" weddings.

My style is modern and unique with a journalistic approach. I would love to create a life memory for you. Whether it be for your Wedding day or your Family photos I will listen to your ideas and thoughts. After all, these are YOUR photos!

I am the eye behind the lens.

The thought behind the shot.

The idea behind the set.

Stacey was amazing! I am so lucky I found her. Not only is she super professional, super sweet and so easy to work with... THE PICTURES are incredible. She captured each moment and it was freezing- you would never know by the pics. She has an amazing eye. I am so grateful to have these pictures . Where do I even start?! Scheduling an engagement session with Stacy was the most seamless process, she was very attentive and responsive to all of my questions she really made me feel comfortable from the 1st text we exchanged! My fiancé and I have never taken professional picture we were concerned we would look like robots/stiff in the pictures and the outcome was just WOW!! Stacy made sure to make us feel at ease and trust the process, she gave us great tips on what to do and just made the entire experience for us an AMAZING one! I will forever cherish these pictures that just make me relive such a happy moment in our lives! I 100% recommend On The Rocks photography to anyone for any occasion!! Stacy did such an amazing job on mine and my finacés engagement photos. She took us to a beautiful location in the mountains, looked like Mars to me. She took something like 300 photos and they all turned out amazing. I thought for sure we would look like idiots as we are far from professional models lol but Stacy exceeded our expectations. We we're running a little late and Stacy even stayed over the hour we booked. She made us feel so special and she really did an incredible job on our photos. Thank you Stacy!!

I would recommend Stacy to every bride because she really cares about both the photos and the people she's photographing. Her photos were beautiful and she got them back to me just a day after taking them. I can't imagine a more helpful person to have photographing your big day.

I'm sure that pun has been used before but she truly is an amazing photographer to work with! She is super fast at responding, loves what she does, and fully immerses herself in every client! We had a busy day and the outcome shows just how hard she works! Can't wait to have her at our wedding!
