My name is Jana Blue and I've been photographing weddings for 7 years. I'm consistent not in a trend of photos or style, but emotions. Each wedding and couples are so unique and my work follows that. In my career I've photographed both big production weddings and also intimate DIY ones. I've photographed informal engagements and elopements/weddings in a desert in Chile, in the mountains of Zion, in a beach in Croatia, in an ancient church in Greece and in forests in Brazil. I work with all different budgets and needs from my brides. I'm a preferred vendor of Chicago First Lady Boat, so I do weddings on the boat during the summer.

Jana is an amazing photographer and an even more exceptional videographer. I worked with Jana a couple times for family photo sessions. When I was thinking of photographing a vowel renewal with my hubby of 10 years, I went straight to Jana with my ideas. I was less prepared than most of the Brides she works with. Jana helped me to plan everything. The images and video she delivered far exceeded my expectations. The fact she was able to make my hubby tear up watching our video speaks volumes. She is a brilliant story teller and captures raw emotion in her work. I can't recommend Jana enough!

Jana is absolutely amazing! My fiance and I currently live in North Carolina and wanted to have our engagement photos shot in Wheaton where we met in college. Jana communicated, organized, and coordinated so well to make our dream happen. She effortlessly made us laugh and have a great time during the shoot. Her photos are so natural and we’ll have these to cherish forever. Highly recommend Jana and her talents!

Jana was amazing both leading up to and throughout the wedding. Jana worked so hard in the cold to capture our perfect day!The pictures are so beautiful and amazing, we both cried just as much looking through the pictures as we did the day of the wedding. I did not spend any better money than investing in her and the work she did. Thank you so much.
