For three generations, photography has been running in the blood of my family. As a Cancun wedding photographer, I am passionate about capturing the love stories that unfold in the beautiful settings of Mexico. I’m convinced that love can overcome any obstacle—it doesn’t matter if it’s distance, race, color, or language. When there’s love, anything is possible. Being able to witness that is the main reason why wedding photography has become my passion.
I’ve been fortunate to share the past nine years of my life with my wife and best friend, Sara. Recently, a beautiful baby named David came into our lives. Spending time with him, teaching him what we’ve learned over the years, watching him grow, and traveling together truly makes us happy. We enjoy visiting our friends in Antigua, Guatemala; San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico; San Diego, California; and New York City.
As a Tulum wedding photographer, I find inspiration in the breathtaking landscapes and rich cultures of the places we visit. I’m a big fan of the Star Wars universe and deeply admire the work of Emmanuel Lubezki (a.k.a. “El Chivo,” which means “The Goat”). His cinematography in movies like A Little Princess and The Revenant has earned my utmost respect and admiration.
There are plenty more things that make my life a delight—the unique taste of peaches from Chiapas, a glass of fine red wine, the ocean’s breeze, the view of a gorgeous forest, the majestic presence of wolves and how they care for their pack, and looking up at a sky full of stars to remind me how small we really are.
I have enjoyed photographing weddings throughout the Riviera Maya, from Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, Holbox, to Bacalar. My journey as a Mexico wedding photographer has also taken me to other enchanting parts of the country like Sayulita, Veracruz, San Cristóbal de las Casas in Chiapas, and Los Cabos. Beyond Mexico, I’ve been fortunate to capture love stories in the United States and Central America, enriching my experience and deepening my appreciation for diverse cultures and traditions.
As a Mexico wedding photographer, my goal is to capture emotions in a unique way. The vibrant colors and authentic moments in my photos set my work apart. I believe every love story is special, and I am honored to document the beginning of your new chapter together.
