Short version: I’m a wedding planner and florist turned bride, and hiring Taylor was the best vendor decision we made for our wedding, full stop.

Long version: I always tell my brides that the photographer is the most important vendor to consider because they’re there with you all day long, including at some of your most intimate and personal moments. They’re the vendor who keeps working even after the day is done, and they’re one of the hardest working vendors day-of; they hardly get a break. Lastly, your photos are, along with your rings, the most lasting (semi)physical memento of your wedding. Photos give life and structure to your memories, and our photos from Taylor ring true to our relationship and our wedding- what more could you want?

Highlights:
1. One of the easiest wedding decisions - back at the beginning of the planning process, I considered multiple Seattle wedding photographers because there’s so much talent and so many wonderful friendors in the industry, but my husband quickly pointed out that my heart already knew the right choice. Not a single regret.
2. Adaptability and prioritization of our comfort – Every wedding is different, and my husband and I are of the variety who don’t like the feeling of a photoshoot- we didn’t want to spend too much time on portraits or feel like there was a camera in our face. Taylor used lenses that meant she could shoot from far away as well as her sneaky photographer skills so we never felt like she was up in our business. She also helped my husband, who is especially camera-shy, throughout our engagement shoot to gently coax him out of his shell so he got used to both her and the camera.
3. Kindness and personality – Taylor is kind, funny, patient, and welcoming; the warmth you feel exuding from her Instagram profile is TRUE to her. Probably because she’s real and honest about her emotions (good and bad), you feel you can trust her happiness for you to be genuine. She was so patient with our family even when large group portraits were haywire and family members were doing the dreaded “push the photographer away so I can get my iPhone shot.” I was about ready to blow a gasket at moments and Taylor was totally calm and helped me keep perspective. As a bonus, she never made us feel badly that hiring a videographer wasn’t in our budget- her talented and personable husband, Nathan, would have been our first pick if it had been in the cards.
4. Time management/efficiency – Being a planner-turned-bride, it was incredibly difficult for me to “let go” at my wedding, and since we took photos off-site we had to have our coordinator away from us during photos so she could run set-up. Taylor kept us calm and efficient even when we ran behind schedule (for reasons beyond both our and Taylor’s control) and got us where we needed to be with time to spare!
5. THE PHOTOS – what else? There is so much joy, warmth, and color in her pictures. The candid shots make me emotional every time. It’s what Taylor is best known for, and it shows. She also took beautiful portraits and lovely details shots (I specifically requested extra details shots since I spent so much time on the décor) – she’s got all the skills. She will also WORK for the shot- we had our kitty come to our engagement session and wedding portraits, and she literally dove to get a funny shot of the cat one time. Additionally, we hired her to capture a short amount of Super8 film and it is so romantic and dreamy, it makes my heart explode. Our memories of the wedding live on in these photos. I hit the post-wedding blues hardcore for multiple reasons (hooray for a six-month-late review!) but whenever I look back at the photos, I’m reminded of how deeply I love my husband and our families (born and chosen), how loved I feel in return, and how truly happy and magical our wedding day was.

Thank you, Taylor, for everything- from being a friend, to being patient with me taking months to write a dang review, to the most perfect wedding photos. You deserve EVERY client, and every client deserves a photographer like you.

Taylor did both my engagement photos and wedding photos. I truly don’t have the words for how amazing she was for both experiences. Her talent is absolutely unreal. Both occasions, she completely nailed it, capturing moments in such a beautiful, natural way. If you're looking for a Seattle wedding photographer, Taylor is the one. I’m incredibly grateful for her and can’t wait to work with her for more occasions in the future!

The best thing I could have ever done was reach out to Taylor with TMinspired Photography when I knew I wanted to propose in Seattle. I had found her on Instagram and began reading everything on her website, every testimonial, and every blog. She had responded to my inquiry incredibly fast and from there the ball was rolling. I told her my vision and she offered so many ideas and suggestions. She shared her galleries with me so I can truly get an idea of how the day would go. I knew I had always envisioned the large marquee letters and rose petals. Taylor was able to connect me with Kate and her business Grand Mason Goods. From there we were able to get everything set for the big day. The entire process even being 1700 miles away in Texas was so easy thanks to Taylor. Taylor kept me updated throughout the whole process as the big moment got closer. The afternoon on the day of the proposal she sent me updates of the set up. Little did I know when they arrived to set up the City of Seattle Parks and Rec Department was in the exact spot the proposal would be hours later. Thanks to Taylor I was not stressed and had no clue that was even happening. Then the proposal. Taylor was able to beautifully capture the big moment and all the emotions that came with it. We decided to take some pictures on site and then at a second location. The entire time Taylor was so kind and truly made us feel so comfortable considering how awkward my fiancée and I can both be. There are no words to truly describe how amazing Taylor is to be around and work with. Taylor is magical and has the warmest energy. She is beyond talented and truly belongs behind the lens as you can tell it is her calling. Taylor was able to get us our sneak peeks that night and our full gallery quickly even after the holidays. The gallery was and is truly breathtaking. They’re not just photos but true pieces of art that we will cherish forever. I do not believe there is anyone who could have captured that day more perfectly then Taylor. We plan to have Taylor and her husband Nathan capture our wedding and hope to have Taylor as a lifetime photographer even though we’re far from the west coast. Taylor is worth traveling thousands of miles for.
