The Organic Moment Photography

I first fell in love with photographing weddings when I was second shooting for another photographer. It was at a time in my life where everything candid captured my attention -- music, theatre, film etc. I wanted to pose nothing and photograph everything as it is, completely candid. This is exactly what second shooters do for weddings, so naturally I began that journey. At that time, the primary photographer was capturing family photos and didn't need my help so I was standing, looking around for something interesting to photograph. I noticed flower girls playing hide and seek in their beautiful princess dresses and knew this was an incredible passing moment. It was real and artfully candid and no on was witnessing it but me! I photographed them laughing and playing, being them. I realized then, this is the ultimate documentary project. People's lives.
