Na Lia Weddings is a wedding photography business that specialises in modern, classic and destination weddings. Our work is an emotional and conceptual representation of our clients love stories delivered through a contemporary & timeless artistic perspective. Established in 2014, by Owner Shardey Olynyk, Na Lia Weddings is an international wedding photography business for couples that desire authentic and honest imagery. The name “Na Lia” meaning “I love you” in the African language of Vai, originates from Shardey having an African/Ukrainian background and wanting a name that would not only reflect her passion but represent her ethnic heritage as well. With the influence of photographers running through the family, the idea of creating tangible heirlooms for clients was an undeniable career path. After graduating at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Arts in photography at Melbourne's RMIT University, Na Lia Weddings has gone on to photograph hundreds of weddings. Some of which have been featured and published on print and in digital platforms such as VOGUE, Hello May, The Anti-Bride, Dancing With Her, Nouba, HOORAY Magazine, Rock and Roll Bride and many more. Doing their part to reduce the effect of global warming, Na Lia Weddings gives back a percentage of their annual profits to the The Greenpeace Fund, a global organisation which promotes Greenpeace’s mission: To halt environmental destruction and to promote solutions for future generations.For 2023/24 bookings we are currently travelling between Australia, Canada, Ireland and Italy.
