Mandee captured our big day perfectly and we are forever grateful that her work has given us the ability to relive this day for a lifetime. She has such a good eye, she took the time to understand us as a couple and every photo reflects our vibe and essence. She is so incredibly talented, professional, kind, and thorough. We cannot recommend her enough. Thank you a million times over, Mandee!!!

     

Mandee was amazing!! She took beautiful photographs of us during our big day and really just helped with the overall wedding experience and made us feel extremely special. We chose the Petite package which was perfect for us because we had just had a walk on beach ceremony with the two of us and about 7 family members at Little Corona Del Mar in Newport Beach. She really was able to delegate where the best position for Gisel and I would be on the beach while the officiant did the ceremony to get the best photos. Little Corona Del Mar has a long steep trail down to the beach so it was hard for Gisel to walk down with a wedding dress and everything but Mandee was very helpful in holding extra things and making sure she didn’t fall and trip and that she was comfortable. When it came to the actual beach there was a ton of rocks when we had to take our after ceremony photos and she even gave Gisel her sandals to walk on the rocks which was extremely helpful for her.

After the beach wedding she came to our reception which was at a beach house near our ceremony location and took some amazing photos with friends and family (about 30 people). She was great the whole time making sure we got photos with all of the people there as we would go up and talk to them. We told her we preferred “action” type photos rather than posing which was exactly what she did.

Overall it was an amazing experience and we are very happy with Mandee’s photos!

When your wedding day is over, you’ve got memories - yes - but you also have photos, and we wanted our photos to be incredible. My husband deals with professional photographers every day in his business, and so finding and hiring the right one to shoot our wedding was one of the first things we focused on as we set about planning for our big day. One of his best friends is a wedding photographer, but we wanted her to be a guest at our wedding, not someone who’d be working the event. We enlisted her to help us find the perfect match. She did some research, as did we, and once she came across Mandee’s Instagram page, she told us “book her - right now”. Her style and vibe were the perfect for us, and we arranged to meet her on a conference call. We got a great feeling from her on that very first day, and it seemed to be a natural fit. First, we arranged to get with her for an engagement shoot, because if we vibed with her there, we knew that she’d be great for the wedding. She helped us choose a perfect setting in the DTLA Arts District for that first shoot, and after spending 90 minutes with her, we knew she was the one. She was professional, friendly, and put us at ease. When we got our photos back, were were really blown away - and it was a no-brainer to have her do our wedding. Months later, we met with her again, this time at the wedding venue, doing a walk-around and looking at the the light. Mandee was super approachable and every interaction with her was great. On the day of our wedding, Mandee arrived with a second shooter and they got to work capturing the details: us getting ready, the reception room, the ceremony site and more. We knew they were going to do an amazing job, but it wasn’t until we got our photos back that we knew how incredible she really was. We were blown away! From our individual portraits, family shots, friends and more, she captured the day in ways we couldn’t have imagined. We were so busy that day, it all went by in a blur, and to have these incredible photos to look back at is something we’ll treasure forever. So many great shots from the ceremony, cocktail hour, lots and lots of dancing and our grand exit. Mandee was the consummate professional, and we couldn’t be happier with how she captured the most important day of our lives! Don’t hesitate, just hire her now, you won’t regret it.

     

My husband and I hired Mandee to photograph our elopement in Griffith Park. We did a small ceremony with one witness and one officiant with drinks afterward at a brewery. We didn’t want to spend a lot on a formal wedding, but knew that photos were the one thing we really wanted to spent money on. Mandee was the PERFECT photographer for our special day! She exceeded all expectation! My family and friends cannot stop gushing about our photos. Mandee makes it look easy – gently guiding us through the process to pose and move from location to location – but I could tell, it takes a lot of talent and foresight to do what she does so well. Not only were the photos amazing, but she also helped me out with contacts for hair/makeup, an officiant, and also prompted us to think of other details to make our elopement look it’s best in photos. Mandee essentially made it easy for us to plan our elopement; I couldn’t imagine how this day would’ve went if we hadn’t worked with her. I am incredibly happy with the result!

     

Mandee is the rare combination of incredible artist and great communicator. She is extremely punctual and knows hot to get the shot while making you feel like old friends, so she can capture you at your most authentic. Thank you for everything, Mandee! You’re one of a kind!
