My name is João Teixeira and I am a wedding photographer in Porto. I started in the world of wedding photography in Portugal at the age of 18 helping my father, who was also a photographer for 40 years. With him I learned how to have a more personal connection with my clients. I started by opening a studio, named JT Estúdios, which at this moment has the purpose of receiving the couples closest to me, but also to hold other photo sessions, such as New Born Photography, Maternity Photography, Kids Photography, etc., but in the past few years my main personal objective, while João Teixeira, is to make more and more Destination Weddings, Beautiful and Intimate Weddings, and Engagement Sessions. I also love to travel and that’s why I love to receive loving couples from different corners of the world and exchange ideas about places, about our cultures, tell their love story to the world and eternize their love, their story, the small things, the small details through my photographs, because I think that the best way to imortalize our memories it’s through an image. That it’s something that inspires me so much to do what I do!

I’m an observer of small details and that’s why I like to immortalize them. I love landscapes and portraits, and allies with naturalness and spontaneity, the photographs I take at weddings and at the engagement sessions ends up having captivating and emotional results. 

Nothing makes me more happy than kept captivated by the photos I take of my sweet loving couples because of the spontaneous, the emotion, the joy, the love that transmites me.

So, my vow to my future couples it’s to eternize through my vision and my lens their love stories, their most special day of their lives in the most natural, beautiful and timeless way.
