Allen J. Photos

Allen is a New York native; born in raised in Brooklyn.

He discovered photography during his time as a club promoter in NYC. Wanting to promote his events more efficiently, he realized he could get more guest to come to his events if he promoted with photos of previous events and not solely by word of mouth or advertising. From there, he purchased is first camera and started to photograph the night life events that he promoted.

This is what created his love for photography. He loved the reaction he got from those he photographed; the joy of them while taking the photos and the satisfaction he received when they saw them. This joy and satisfaction is what drives him to continue photography and what motivated his to expand his portfolio.

Allen is well-versed in different aspects of photography such as portrait shots, location shoots, and wedding and event photography. Whether it be candid shots of a family celebrating a Sweet 16 or a newly engaged couple expressing their love and commitment or a mother expecting her first child, Allen loves to be there to capture it all. The happiness and joy he receives from each client is what continues to fuel his passion and love for photography.
