Wags + Garland Wedding Day Pet Care

     

Stephanie from Wags + Garland provided the absolute best care we could have asked for our pup on our wedding day. She is very thoughtful, thorough, detail oriented, and kind, and our pup loved being with her. We couldn’t have asked for better care. Highly recommend if you’re in need of dog support on your big day!

     

My fiancé and I had a destination wedding in NC early May and my soon-to-be hubs and I were pretty skeptical with our (3) pups being on their own with a stranger. We have (1) pup who is intensely protective, (1) pup who hasn’t really been socialized due to Covid, and (1) pup who is carefree and loves everyone. We looked tirelessly for a company we could trust to help us get our girls for our wedding photos. The first one that stood out was Wags & Garland. Their website is user friendly, super cute, and very informative. I reached out and Stephanie was our person of contact. From the very beginning she made sure things were smooth with communication, timelines, and how we wanted to conduct our day. As our BIG day got closer, Stephanie made sure she was able to connect with us once we arrived in NC establishing meet and greets and aligning timelines with both our photographer and wedding planner. Not only did Stephanie drive all the way up once to our AirBnB to introduce herself and meet our pups, but she also came a second time to form more of a bond – this time with her assistant, Allison. Well, our BIG day came and we saw our girls all decked out in their cuteness up at our gorgeous venue. Our girls were so content and actually enjoying themselves. It definitely showed that Allison and Stephanie went out of their way to make sure our day was extra special. The next day, we received a text with (25) photos of our girls both individuals and pictures with us as well as an update to how the day went. This was such a sweet ending to our beautiful new chapter we created in the mountains. We can’t say enough great things! Our 14 1/2-year-old Golden Retriever was our best man/ring bearer in our wedding. We worked with Wags + Garland for on-site care at the venue and the safe transportation of our pup back to our house - and they were FANTASTIC! They asked thoughtful questions at our pre-wedding meet and greet, were punctual, professional, kind, and gave this bride the peace of mind knowing her furbaby was well looked-after! Wags + Garland went above and beyond, and was very thorough in their communications. What an awesome, much needed company in this space! Highly recommend!

     

So glad we decided to use Wags and Garland's services for our wedding day! Our two pups had THE BEST day and so much fun at our cocktail hour greeting guests and getting some photobooth pics! I loved how they documented the entire day for us so we could see what our dogs were up to while we were getting ready. They did a great job of keeping them hydrated, calm, and engaged throughout the day and got them fed and put to bed before leaving. The attention to detail and even meeting our dogs before the weekend to build rapport/get to know their personalities put my mind at ease they would be in good hands that day and we did not have to make friends or family pick up the heavy lifting because Wags and Garland does it all! Highly recommend for any event where you want to ensure your dogs are cared for and even a part of the days festivities!
