I am a Georgia wedding officiant. located in Atlanta, who was ordained in the Unitarian Church and began officiating unique custom weddings 49 years ago. After retiring from a 25 year in another field I formed Your Wedding Your Way. I gathered a group of wonderful, talented officiants and trained them to be the best officiants available. We are all very open minded, non-judgmental and accepting of every couple, just as they are. We love couples who think outside the box and are looking for something unusual and personalized. Do you want a pirate wedding, Dungeons and Dragons or Harry Potter themed wedding, pets in your wedding or maybe to get married on the Ferris Wheel in downtown Atlanta? Well, we've done all that and more. We work with inter-faith and inter-cultural couples very often and one of my officiants is fluent in 5 languages. We've worked with translators in many languages, including American Sign Language. Of course, we adore and embrace the LGBTQ+ community and most of us have close friends and family in the community. In fact, one of my officiants has been married to her lovely wife for several years...we officiated for her! Every couple, no matter how traditional, completely out of the box or anywhere in between, receives a unique, custom ceremony that I create using information you give to me. Every ceremony is personalized and your guests will know that they went to YOUR wedding, not just A wedding. Every love story is different and every wedding ceremony should be as well. Working with Patty was one of the best decisions we ever made. She has an amazing ability to make your ceremony so unique to you and your story. We were able to share our story with her and fill out a questionnaire, and within a few days, she had already written 3 different ceremony options for us to choose from, all of which captured the love that we share. Her guidance throughout the entire process is based on the countless ceremonies she has done before. The result of all of this was the most impactful ceremony that our guests could not stop talking about. The whole ceremony could not have been more representative of my husband and myself and we were fortunate that we got to share it with the ones we love. Patty has a way of connecting with her couples to make it the most special and personal ceremony. We could not be happier with how everything turned out, and the experience for our guests and us.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Patty at YWYW. She was responsive, professional, reasonably priced, and just plain sweet. She had so many options for us when it came to choosing the details of our ceremony, and also allowed us to customize anything we wanted! She truly gave us a special, unique ceremony.
Due to personal reasons, Patty was unfortunately unable to officiate our wedding. However, she let us know as soon as she did that she would be unable to make it AND had a back-up ready for us. She MADE SURE that her personal situation did not negatively impact our day in any way (other than just missing her!). Rev. Grant officiated our ceremony and we thoroughly enjoyed having him. We were super appreciative that Patty had provided us with an excellent substitute. Everything turned out perfectly! We would highly recommend YWYW for your special day!
