Maine Officiants

     

I have no doubt in my mind that Jody was the perfect being to officiate our wedding. I was looking for someone that would be flexible with the ceremony, being open to new/different unifying "rituals" and helping to make the ceremony be full of love. I knew Jody was the one for us!

We met with Jody twice prior to the wedding weekend. Our homework after the first meeting was for the bride and groom to be to write love letters to each other. The second meeting she gave us the opportunity to read them aloud to each other. What courage and vulnerability that takes! Such an impact. In that process, i realize it is something that would be very healing done periodically, as well.

The ritual during the ceremony was painting on canvas, and not only was Jody open to it, she was very encouraging. When speaking with her, you can tell she is listening, and makes sure to create a beautiful ceremony that both the husband and wife will be (more than!) happy with.

Jody and her husband, David, bring such love, warmth, and intuitive connectedness that is hard to not to feel good in. They both make you feel at ease regardless of wedding jitters, and remind you of the ultimate goal to focus on: unifying love.

The ceremony itself was beautiful, and several people commented on how it fit Travis and I perfectly. It had humor, stories of the couple, love, compassion - it brought my husband to tears several time - which I did not expect, but was greatly moved by. Thank you SO much, Jody
