Imagine your wedding day and the most incredible ceremony – one that captures your relationship in every dimension, the result of a process that strengthens your partnership and bonds you deeper as a couple. This is my passion and purpose: offering a supportive, fun and meaningful process for crafting a ceremony that leaves you radiant because it's exactly what you dreamed of for your wedding day!
I'd describe my approach as interspiritual and oriented to the interconnected nature of life, incorporating both humanistic and mythic principles. I love supporting couples interested in non-traditional ceremonies as well as those that are more traditional (yet only mildly religious).
I recently completed a three year experiential program that trained me in the art of ceremony - how it flows, how to hold the space, how to track the experience for those involved, and what elements matter. Through facilitating over a dozen ceremonies and being a part of several dozen more during that time, I realized how ceremony brings me alive - and began to offer my services and support as a ceremonialist.
The first wedding I designed a ceremony for was my own in December of 2012. In fact, I officiated it too - along with my husband - because here in Colorado, the law permits "self-solemnization." (One of my packages can support you in exploring this option and creating your own ceremony!)
In 2014, I had the privilege of officiating my second wedding and I've been hooked ever since. I love tending to the practical matters as well as the spiritual and energetic aspects of why a wedding includes a ceremony.
Now I want to bring this passion out into the world - shining a light on the value of ceremony and ritual in crossing major life thresholds.
I couldn't recommend Corin more as an officiant! Corin guided us through a thoughtful process over the months leading up to our wedding - meeting with us, asking important questions, supporting us in piecing through what we wanted out of our wedding ceremony, and even giving us some incredibly helpful wedding "homework." I can't imagine what our wedding would have been like if Corin wasn't able to officiate for us! Corin is a phenomenal listener and sounding board - she's creative, flexible, and has a great sense of intuition. I'd highly recommend Corin to anyone looking for a ceremony with meaning - that's intentionally broad, because Corin really could do anything from a ceremony that had everyone laughing the whole time to a ceremony that had everyone crying (or, in our case, somewhere in between)! We love you Corin!
