Nickolas Raisis came to the United States from Greece in the early 1950's. Carrying his father's master tailor scissors from Greece, he proceeded to make his dream come true. Nick opened his first store in 1956 in Brooklyn, New York. After vacationing in Myrtle Beach he decided to move his family south. In 1971 Formal Wear of Myrtle Beach was born. With only 75 tuxedos to start with Nick quickly grew his business into what it is today. We have been helping gentlemen on the Grand Strand look their best for more than 40 years. Being locally owned and operated means that you are a part of our family.
