Kat's Floral Design

     

Kat is a dream to work with. I reached out to a handful of different florists, but Kat was the most personal, sincere, and honest. These are qualities that I like and prefer to work with.

Our initial wedding date was August 29th, 2020. We had everything on track until Covid-19. Given all the restrictions and safety concerns, we decided to postpone our larger party. We made the decision sometime in July.

As you can imagine, this was a scary process. Kat was so understanding of our decision. She kept tabs on us throughout the process in a respectful way. She never showed a hint of judgment and was the supportive vendor/friend that we needed. Kat also worked seamlessly with my planner, Events by the Cea, with the change. 

Although we postponed our larger party, we wanted to honor our original date. My husband and I decided to have a micro ceremony at Crystal Cove/Pelican Point on 8/29/2020. This is where we got to see Kat do what she does best: create the most breathtaking floral designs that match her client's personality. 

For my wedding, I wanted big florals. I asked for a nontraditional bouquet with bold colors of rust. I sent over a few inspo documents and Kat listened. At my micro ceremony, I was speechless. 

Kat captured me perfectly. In fact, my friend commented about my bouquet and said, "Diana, if you were a bouquet, this is exactly what you would be." My bouquet was stunning. It had everything I wanted and things that I didn't know how to explain. My planner has photos of the florals on her IG (@eventsbythecea).

Not only was my bouquet gorgeous, but so was the ceremony decor. I asked for an arch floral, loose floral decor, and 2 floor pieces. The floor pieces looked organic and natural as if the flowers bloomed from the floor right there! The design fit perfectly with my micro venue at Crystal Cove/Pelican Point. 

Overall, our micro ceremony was a DREAM. I highly recommend you go to her Instagram page (and our other vendors) to see photos. Definitely consider Kat for your next event as well as our other equally amazing vendors. We are so happy with her and we cannot wait to meet again for our larger party in 2021.
