Dolce Vita Weddings was established by Daniela De Luca in 2005, when the words "wedding planner" were still rarely heard of in Italy.
Dolce Vita Weddings is based in Rome and specialises in planning destination weddings of foreign couples who wish to get married in the Eternal City.
The goal at Dolce Vita Weddings is to offer a very personal approach and create tailor-made weddings, whether be it an elopement or a large-scale event with many guests. Thus following this philosophy, Daniela only takes up a few weddings per year.
What you will find with Dolce Vita Weddings is a dedicated, locally-based wedding planner with a self-organising and planning attitude, who was able to build valuable relationships with wonderful, trustworthy suppliers and who has gained tons of experience working in the wedding industry for several years and learning something new at each event.
Services offered include: Partial & Full Service Planning; Day-of coordination; Assistance with paperwork; Wedding Reception planning; Vendor suggestions and management; Budget management; Timeline creation.

When my husband and I were in the beginning stages of wedding planning, we actually “interviewed” a few wedding planners, but eventually chose Daniela from Dolce Vita Weddings. We live in DC and wanted someone who is familiar with Rome, as well as the venues and vendors there. We were able to meet with Daniela and our vendors/venues a year prior to our wedding, and it was obvious from the vendors that Daniela has a positive reputation amongst them!
In hindsight, we are grateful that we chose Daniela. Our welcome party, wedding ceremony/reception, and farewell brunch exceeded our expectations. Daniela was easy to work with and communicate with. If we needed to touch base with her via video chat, she was able to set up a meeting as soon as possible. She’s very organized — each email thread has its own purpose (music, florist, menu, etc.), which was really helpful when our questions seemed all over the place!
It was evident that Daniela knows the vendors and venues well. She sent us many options for our Welcome Party, Church, Reception, and Farewell brunch — we were able to look into each venue, ask her questions, and see pictures/videos of wedding parties she had previously planned there. She also sent us different options for florists, photographers/videographers, bands, and DJs. We appreciated the variety to choose from, and she was helpful in narrowing which vendor and venue was best for our vision and budget. We loved working with Daniela from Dolce Vita Weddings!

We are a couple from Hong Kong. We know nothing about hosting a foreign wedding, but Dolce Vita offered so much help and recommendations throughout, which we greatly appreciated. When we arrived in Rome, there were some hiccups just days before the wedding, Daniela was able to offer plan B, and, most importantly, comfort, to us, which was a great relief! We cannot thank her enough for that. All along Daniela was amiable and responsive. She was not shy from sharing her ideas with us, and we surely loved how she would think of ways to get us a good bargain!
Without her, our foreign wedding in the Vatican and reception in Rome would not have succeeded. Thank you very much in helping us to create this memorable day!

Daniela planned our wedding in Rome on Oct 5, 2023. From start to finish she was the best, transparent with communication. She was always available when we needed. We traveled to Rome multiple times before the wedding, in which she planned tours of venues, and our food tasting. Every vendor that she recommended was great. It is hard enough planning a wedding in a different country but with Daniela helping us, she made it effortless. I can not thank her enough for making our wedding the best day of our lives.
